  1. Sorry it’s been quiet on this front. currently struggling with a few things, but Burna and Wile have stepped in to get it going and it’s giving me a kick again. I’ll update the first post with details as I get them
  2. I hope we get a big turn out, especially after the last few crappy years of covid we all need a good blow out
  3. Sorry guys, I’ve been working nights at a power station for the past month so have been a bit slack. I’ll be going into full show organisation mode very soon and we will get this sorted for everyone.
  4. There isn’t a deadline set yet. we do need to get a grasp on numbers so we can make sure we have enough plots
  5. Yes mate. this event is more about getting the members out again after a crappy few years lockdown and catching up with old friends. obviously we want to show off our cars, but there’s no reason why a MK3 can’t come on if you know anyone with a MK5, I’ll make the 3,4 and 5 a centre piece
  6. Volunteer chefs and pan cleaners Friday Dinner Friday late night food Saturday Dinner Saturday Breakfast Saturday late night food Sunday Breakfast
  7. EVENT IS NOW OVER: See and post your Photos and Videos here please: Hello All. The club will be attending Yakushi Show this year and we plan to make it a big one. We are going all in, like we used with JAE. Big stand with a large marquee, Walk in fridge/Generator, Fire pit, Kitchen/BBQ, Food and drinks, Games and activities And the Playstation with projector for the Gran Turismo competition and movies. We currently have several plots reserved for us and a healthy budget from the club to get the ball rolling so this will be the interest thread which I will update the names below, as well as the details thread, which I will keep updated as we go along. The weekend camping is from 9am Friday to 5pm Sunday with also the option of just a Saturday day pass. The club is planning a large convoy for those wanting to attend on the Saturday, details to follow at a later date. Tickets for the event and the club stand are now available at the Club Shop *** PLEASE NOTE, YOU NEED TO BE LOGGED INTO THE FORUM TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE SHOP ITEMS FOR THIS EVENT *** If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to comment or message me.
  8. I’m not for the club page. Not sure who actually is the admin for it
  9. I’m looking into options to get copies made, may not be cheap though
  10. A few people have asked about wanting one or a copy, one guy has already offered $1000 for mine lol JB mentioned someone on Instagram, so I am going to look to see if I can find electric car chassis about the same size and then look into getting the shell molded and make another or similar version.
  11. Video added as struggling with the photos, need to resize some of them I think.
  12. Sorry guys, mobile uploading went t*ts up lol Adding some more now, can only do a few at a time
  13. So a few years back, I bought a very, very rare Supra pedal car. However it was badly damaged  So decided to do something different with it. With the help Ellis Grange at http://www.fiftyninedesign.com about for redesigning all the stickers from scratch and pretty much guessing the sizes required. And then rejigging the designs after sending me the first prints to test out as he wasn’t happy until it was perfect. Mark Armitage at Your Final Vinyl for printing the stickers. Karl Owen for the spray painting. Without these, it wouldn’t have been possible. So I started off by stripping it down, removing all stickers, residue and crap that had accumulated over the years. It then went to Karl who prepped and painted it all for me. I then bought a cheap Ali spoiler from ebay. Cut the legs to make it smaller and fit better. A Had to cut the feet to fit the recess, then cut the two blade down so it would fit. Trimmed the width of both to make two sections. Cut the side bits so it would be smaller. Plenty of sand, polish and paint. Could do with some more work. Then took apart the steering wheel from my kids Lightning McQueen ride on car. Drilled a few holes for the nos buttons from my old supra steering wheel. Painted black and managed to make it fit. Then added my Defi Rev counter and shift light. Still working on a power solution and a device to make it Rev. Had to rework the windscreen as it was snapped in a few places. Bit of tape, glue, sanding and paint and it looks alright. Then added the stickers. Getting some more made up as I think I can do a better job of applying them. Next up is adding some lights and possibly a motor and remove the pedal system and possibly a speaker for supra sounds lol - - - Updated - - -
  14. I have one too, will need sandblasted and painted
  15. If people are genuinely interested in attending JAE, than I will happily organise. Unfortunately, I and the club have been out of pocket the past 2 years organising the plots, power, marquee etc. Which is a shame as people say they are interested, I pay out hundreds, then no one comes.
  16. If you werent so far away, I would have snapped these up
  17. I have a custom one that i made up, i will try get some pictures.
  18. Like what you did there. Think it went above everyones heads though Guilt
  19. Basch, I have just replied to your email. His profile name is MK4GAZ
  20. Hopefully with the forum being freshened up and the new club car, we might start to see an increase of interest in club events and car shows. Really demoralising putting in money and loads of time for an event for only a handful to turn up Fingers crossed next year is bigger and we can back to having a good time
