  1. You cant compare a Supra to a GTSt :O Supra vs. the GTR I've had all three 480bhp MKiv TT 300+bhp R33 GTSt 500bhp R32 GTR Supra does 'feel' a superior car, better built with a more refined engine. A much better motorway car. BUT my R32 is more fun... prob all down to setup etc though
  2. some updates... some specs n stuff http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/projects/skyline.htm and video's - http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/media.htm
  3. hello again... just to update.. The Corsa - blew its engine for the last time and was stripped and sold in parts over a weekend. Lot of money wasted on that hunk of Shite. Dropped a valve guide, think it wasnt fitted right by shoddy garage. TypeR - sold to buy another house. The missus wasnt happy :O R32 GTR - is now running a new bottom end and turbo's... see here for detailed pish of whats being goin gon with it (heaps of pics) http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3 Trust 87mm forged pistons Tomei rod bolts Tomei head gasket Tomei sump baffle Nismo oil pump N1 bearings Tomei inlet/tb/exhaust gaskets HKS turbo gaskets garret GT2860-5 turbo's (running 1.2bar for now) Mines ECU Tein circuit master suspension.... and a heap of other crap i cant remember :O and some front end damage from a tyre wall LOL see vid http://trackscotland.co.uk/vid/adamoff.avi and other vids http://trackscotland.co.uk/media.htm Whats this about members get life for 3+ years of membership? Does that mean i can post with my orig account, or do i still have to cough up?
  4. think i was first a member on here late 2001 or early 2002. The Impreza has the DCCD diff control, IC waterspray etc.... it is a fun wee car. The 911.... its imaculate. No Rust, 25 years old, 70k miles, Full history. Has a car coon, and summer miles only Monkey - The white corsa above is just the same corsa in a lighter shell still 'base model'. the end of the green one http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3231/bent_1.jpg the inside of new one http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3231/track_spec_5.jpg the engine http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3231/engine_3.jpg Here is the skyline after about 4 days of ownership feel a wee bit sorry for the previous owner. It was imaculate inside. http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5254/atkins_diet_11.jpg weee http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5254/1060cr2.jpg Are you still running std turbos after all those 1/4miles!!!! If so.... you sure they are ceramic
  5. Doh... busted Jake - The typeR is a great car for weekends. A little too raw for me to enjoy everyday, but very good on B roads and goes like a rocket due to the short gearing. Girlfriend loves it and drives it daily to work. Its a 98 V4. Ps.... Seems like everyone had Single turbo's on the supra's now going by your sigs
  6. ach.. the corsa is the same as before.... just new blocks, and a new shell.... same everyhing else! I nearly bought a white mkIV 6sp from Paul Whiffen a while back but it didn twork out and ended up getting the black impreza.
  7. The new corsa would be fun if it was reliable keep knackering engines! 3 blocks used in about a year and a half. Grr. New skyline is fun on track... a bit tame, and boat like just now but it'll get better
  8. The bland R33 GTSt http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3119/15.jpg Traded the R33 for the impreza... still got it http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3242/4981.jpg bought a 205 GTi off ebay and turned into another track car for the missus... had it almost 2years, sold last month http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3164/2120.jpg this replaced the 205 http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5254/sidc_ross_3.jpg this replaced the green corsa that had its chassis bent... 2.1 16v, throttle boddies, plate dif blablahbla http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3231/coooorsa_6.jpg this sits in the garage now waiting for nice day lovely car http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/4751/s2606.jpg and this tows the fuckers that brake down LOL http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3231/knock_11.JPG thats about that.. Anyway... i've also (well, we... my girlfriend and I) started a new forum 2 days ago. Nothing fancy, nothing busy. http://www.phpbb88.com/trackscotland This site has been set up (as the name suggests) for track enthusiasts within Scotland. We hope to provide as much information as possible on track days being held in Scotland and further afield all under one roof. We expect the site to start off slowly, particularly given the time of year, but hope it will pick up as the 2007 season starts. In the meantime, let us know about your winter projects, planned mods for the new season, future track dates that you are organising. Could you please make any suggestions on layouts and idea's. Any constructive crit will be listened to. The forum will be linked off a main website eventualy and given a proper URL in time. Everything is pretty much rough and ready just now... being a few days old. Any input is much appreciated.
  9. Hi, See a few familiar names still posting Just stumbled onto here after reading a post that was linked from GTRforum about probs with traders, and saw my name mentioned in a post LOL. Anyway.... I sold my MKIV about 3-4 years ago now. It was a lucerne silver TT RZ auto. Running 480bhp with the engine/turbos by Leon at JPS (are they still around?) I sold that car..... spend a bit on a shite track car, bought a R33 GTS (wank), bought a mkII supra for a laugh, sold them both. Then bought a 98 Impreza Type R, 205 gti, R32 GTR, 911, Rnage Rover... crashed the track car, and reshelled it to.... I think pictures will be easier to understand My old supra http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3119/supra.jpg http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3119/supradupra_15.JPG Was sold on, then again to someone in MK i think. Thats the last i heard of it :/ built this as a track car whilst still owning the supra http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3119/51.jpg the MKII http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/3119/100_4671.jpg great fun....
