  1. Has anybody got any information on whether a Supra can run on 95-E10 petrol. I understand that the ethanol raises the octane rating. I've read stuff from the USA that it works well in forced induction engines.
  2. Nic, I'm going to put the 2nd sensor back in as, if nothing else, it will remove the permanent error code 27. Here's a diagram of where it is.
  3. Thanks Nic, mine's only got the front one. A dodgy decat/recat in its history and the second sensor's no longer there!
  4. I measured the voltage as per Ian's guide and it's jumping from 0.12v to 0.75v so I guess it's proper f**ked. Anybody got a part number for the oxygen sensor (UK Car)?
  5. There are no leaks. It pulls strongly to 1.1 bar, or 1.2 if I set at 1.2. The plug colours are fine.
  6. I've had a search and found Big Num had a similar problem to this 5 years ago but the thread contained no result. The car has had new plugs, NGK - BCPR7ES - gap 0.7mm, coil-pack connectors overhauled etc. and now it has a hesitation at low revs except with very light throttle. Once the boost is up, and particularly on the second turbo it's revving cleanly as it should. The symptoms are hesitancy and the odd pop from the exhaust. Is this a low-revs fueling issue and if so what could be causing it? I don't have any afr measuring kit. There are no stored error codes.
  7. I had the same issue today and the code stored was 34.
  8. Cheers lads, Wheel Specialists seem to be my best bet because I'm staying with a mate about 3 miles from them - I'm just waiting for a quote.
  9. Can anyone recommend a wheel refurb company on Tyneside? I need a reliable top quality service. The wheels in question are Volk one piece.
  10. I finally got back to this problem after a big red herring with the immobiliser. I was looking under the bonnet with the ignition on and a multimeter in my hand when a coil-pack caught fire. All is now fixed.
  11. For France, if you are the new owner and go to register the car without the V5 you'll need a certificate of export from the DVLA.
  12. Hand over the entire V5 to the new owner as you would for a UK buyer but keep the section saying you've exported the car and send it to the DVLA. If you have the original sales invoice for the car then it can be a bonus to a French buyer. The new owner will need to prove VAT has been paid somewhere in the EU before registering it.
  13. Not many by the look of things. Have you still got yours Michael?
  14. Hmmm, I thought it was a Fiat Brava. Now in limited edition mid-engined form.
  15. I've seen a few astonishing crashes here in France - many along the lines of "how is it possible to do that?" - but how fast was this car (whatever it was) going and guess the age of the driver.
  16. Cheers, I'll follow the wiring loom.
  17. Can anybody identify this alarm. I thought the car had a Concept 600 but I now don't know having seen this. Is there another "black box" anywhere or is this the whole system?
  18. That's not a bike noted for mpg! Is it the de-restricted version? (or will it be?)
  19. You've got to be keen to be a biker these days.
  20. How long before somebody gets done for sneezing while driving! Is it any wonder the police don't command the respect of the public? Note: I've left the country!
  21. What if you discovered Griffin had a Supra in his garage - a white one naturally?
