  1. SPA do a combine EGT and Boost gauge which would cut your A-pillar need down to a two from a three.
  2. Monkey - did mine a week or so ago and it took 1900ml.
  3. I started a thread in January on this. Search on "Twin Intercoolers" and you'll find it. I didn't pursue it as I don't have any plans to up the power at present.
  4. Sounds like you have no springs fitted, a mistake I made when first installing UK brakes.
  5. Just as I thought - cheers guys.
  6. Last question anybody - is this another car where the only way to get transmission oil in is down the dipstick pipe?
  7. I read on the bbs that it comes in 4L bottles so I'll have plenty. Thanks for the assistance.
  8. After extensive use of the SEARCH facility, I've drawn a blank. 1. How much oil will drain from a hot Auto box. 2. Are there any hidden nasties when doing a change - you know the "oh, you have to remember to... and that needs Toyota special tool no... etc. I've read up on TypeIV oil etc, so that angle is covered. Any advice is well received.
  9. Barry - Get the car out and drive it. I have enough trouble keeping my mileage down to 12000 a year!
  10. Just taxed my Transit and it cost that. 14 years old 1600cc, probably doubled its value:D
  11. Corner weight should be Left Front = Right Front and the rear will sort itself out.
  12. Not 33% loss, add 33% which is 25% loss. The source of this figure, which is approximate, was a highly respected race engineer and MOTEC specialist at a RR many of us have used.
  13. J-spec Auto reckoned to be about 25%. In other words add 33% for a guideline flywheel figure.
  14. Unlikely that a boost gauge is reading that far out. There is more to a car's performance than just boost pressure.
  15. Could just be warm air. You need a boost controller so you can compensate for these things. If you see a black Supra and can't keep up, it's me (at 1.2) with my boost controller compensating for the air temperature.
  16. So the Road Angel is that accurate? In a straight line of course. Mine reads about 3-5% down on the Road Angel speed.
  17. Unlikely, but if you use the SEARCH facility on this site you'll get the info you need.
  18. Just done this again; the trick is to jack up both sides even if you only want to take one out. This will unload the ARB and make the job much easier. ps Sorry the three top nuts are a 12mm spanner, not a 10mm.
  19. The answer is in your post. The tyre you lost was in trouble.
  20. Just installed one - a 15 minute job because of inscrutible Japanese instructions. I'm glad the bracket bending is a common issue:eek: How can such a simple piece of kit need such a huge manual though?
  21. Qaisar - it all depends on how far off the standard rates the Tein springs and dampers are. I would expect them not to work well together, simply on the assumption that Tein wouldn't sell well if they were just like the standard ones only prettier.
  22. Pulse - if they're leaking and knocking you may well be in big trouble if you need to avaoid something in a hurry! I wouldn't drive a car in that condition.
