  1. Go to http://www.corvette.co.uk/ you won't find anyone who knows more about Corvettes than Tom Falconer
  2. I don't think it actually comes in barrels though!
  3. It's a bit more sensible than years ago. I passed my test on a 100 Yamaha and went out and bought a Honda CB900.
  4. Maybe I could download the petrol straight to my car. How long would 70 litres of Optimax take to download on ADSL?
  5. Gaz, what is an Aristo V300 Vertex?
  6. I think there are a few minor differences between the British GT regs and the FIA regs.
  7. As far as I know GT3 is a power/weight formula, so loads of horsepower doesn't help unless you've got loads of weight! Chris Wilson will probably know more about the regs than I do. The company building the car, Maxspeed, are also naming one driver as Chris Dawkins (the owner of Maxspeed). Maybe I should offer my services, but no doubt they'd ask how much money I was bringing.
  8. A quicker steering rack with less PAS!
  9. So nobody knows? I last saw it at (the late) Torque IC
  10. It is being built to GT3 regs. and will be road car derived rather tha JGTC spec. Expect to see it in BritCar series as well.
  11. According to Autosport last week, the Kent based Maxspeed racing are building a Supra TT to run in Britsh GT (GT3 class) next year. Well done, and the best of luck.
  12. Remember the "Registered Nutter" and the car that sounded like the HKS catalogue on wheels... what happened to it?
  13. I've just seen a traffic warden in London ticket a truck delivering beer to a pub. The driver told me it was his third in a morning. Apparently "no loading except between midnight and 08:30". I'll bet the residents are well pleased with the idea of trucks unloading at 2am! But now you know why your beer is so expensive!
  14. Not worth doing. It achieves nothing.

  16. On the Western bypass at lunchtime today - Gunmetal (?) withe a big rear wing.
  17. "You'd better check your spelling" not "You better check your spelling", and watch that Caps Lock key:D
  18. I've got a big house you can have for £140K - but it's in France
  19. If you're going to race - do it on a track and stop pretending on the street
  20. Cheers Matt. It's pretty much as I thought, but I was hoping there was a short cut that avoided removing the wishbones
  21. I've got to change my front shock-absorbers - any advice which might make it a simpler job would be welcome. Is the trick to remove the top wishbone at the chassis end?
  22. The steering has no decent feel at all, not much cop for a big GT.
  23. Tracking errors don't cause vibration, out of balance wheels do.
