  1. Before you spend loads of time and money checking the ECU etc. check your ODO is reading correctly. My TT did 14mpg until I discovered a double conversion of kilometres to miles. 14mpg x 8/5 = 22.5; not so bad. It's worth a look. If you're only getting 14mpg, you've got a leak or you live on a race track.
  2. I would have thought 25mpg was possible with a n/a, but I wouldn't be surprised if it normally did 18-20mpg.
  3. Track days need a decently prepared car; not race spec, but decent. You'll need good brakes, all suspension/steering components in good order, and a decent set of tyres. Just stripping a car out doesn't make it suitable for track days.
  4. Only on a kart track! I reckon I could get an easy 350kg off but you'd end up with a car that's useless on the road. You won't have a stereo or a passenger seat or any sound-proofing or trim or underseal... and it'll cost more than a TT to do it.
  5. Offest is not the issue, it's the shape of the spokes that counts.
  6. Konis are adjustable off the car. I'd call them setable. I've got them and they're good value and work well. There are two different ride heights you can set them at. Fennsport sell them from stock, usually. Replace the top mounts if they're at all worn - do them at the same time as the shock absorbers because it'll save you loads of time. I only changed one of mine because an orangutan with a big spanner had chewed it up.
  7. Strictly speaking, the next significant figure is 5 so it should be 3.1415927:D I'm off out for a beer - got a life!
  8. Be VERY careful in that market. West London is overflowing with 2 bed flats with magnolia walls and laminate flooring... and no tenants. I can't comment on the rest of the country, but it's all gone barking mad! The prices will fall - two bed flat £350,000? And if it's not your primary residence - don't forget capital gains tax.
  9. Why is there any jealousy against Supras - just about anyone can afford one now!
  10. Like wings on Corsas, they serve no purpose other than as a styling item of dubious value.
  11. I have Autosport going back to 1966 (though no longer all of them)
  12. 50... and no, Saga won't insure it:rlol: I don't know how you under 25s even get insurance on a TT.
  13. Apologies if this has done the rounds but it's a jem, click here
  14. I had a mini like that 30-odd years ago. I don't think the MOT man will be impressed.
  15. Quite what would those be?
  16. Not a Supra Did it come from Rice Cop?

  19. There is only one cos there's only one intercooler.
  20. Yep - black J-spec with Lexus rims.
  21. There's a standard inner wheel-arch cover and it looks like this. It may have been removed to clear the front tyre on full lock - but I've looked closely and your tyres are the same size as mine. 245/40 18
  22. You need to cover the back of that intercooler - see wheel close-up pic!
  23. I caught a glimpse of a Silver one heading towards Newhaven as well; and heard it! Nice sound and definitely a turbo car.
  24. I'm interested in a totally standard UK TT Auto if anyone has one for sale. Pref. black, no silver cars please.
