  1. Cliffnet Wizard, cable and software. This is a serial cable but I think there's a USB converter you can buy if you haven't got an old laptop. £17 incl. P&P
  2. Can't afford a new one? look here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?233203-Storm-Force-4-layer-car-cover SOLD
  3. I've got three coil-packs, one virtually brand new - less than 500 miles - and two old ones which according to my measurements are fine. £60 delivered. To clarify, there are only 3 coil-packs, not 3 pairs. SOLD
  4. Storm Force all weather 4 layer car cover for Supra (std wing). Only used inside my garage, complete with bag, straps etc. Price delivered to UK, PM if you are anywhere else in Europe: £90 SOLD
  5. Google translate must have had a hand in this!
  6. PM me and I'll send you the relevant section of the manual - 1.7Mb
  7. An introduction always seems to go down well here. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif
  8. Lyon is a big city... A friend came through Marseille port last week and was delayed a few hours, but had no problem on the roads.
  9. £20K sterling or 25K€ is not really a good rate of exchange. In answer to the French question; a Supra effectively needs to be a European spec car to be registered in France. A LHD European car is worth roughly double a UK car here. I know of a LHD for sale at 40K€.
  10. The British press are hyping this up to the point you'd think it was 1968 again. I have seen no shortage of fuel (100€ in the Supra today), no burning tyres, no demos, no riots... It's only in the odd big city and of course Paris. The Daily Telegraph published a picture of a "queue at a petrol station" which was probably taken a year ago, if not I'd like to know where I can get petrol at that price. The queue was actually for a slip road. Yes there are train strikes, but there are always train strikes...
  11. Fortunately a 10mm socket allen key and an impact wrench got the plug out (the value of good tools). I dare say it's easy with a breaker bar but I haven't got my car lift installed yet so access and leverage were a sod... hence the impact wrench. I assume this involves his substantial engine trashing the diff and casing?
  12. I was referring to the suggestion that You might want to put in a new plug if you experienced that. I'll find out what size allen key it is tomorrow when I top up my diff oil. You posted as I was composing - thanks Hoppy (nice car you have there; very unassuming from the outside)
  13. Am I right in thinking that the diff cooler pump is electric and only pumps when the oil needs cooling? Just fitted a new cooler today and it's stone cold.
  14. Is it a 10mm allen key? ... and buy a new plug so it'll be removable next time?
  15. or even one of these. http://www.justoffbase.co.uk/Oil-Syringe-with-200mm-Suction-Tube-Sealey-AK46
  16. Considering the state of public finances in Britain they'll probably hit you with a big fine:p
  17. Welcome to the form. If you want a bit more top speed and want to keep that wing, wind it down a bit - must be acting like a barn door as it is. Personally I would go for a TRD style rear wing.
  18. Unfortunately Toyota France have one ordered for me and I've paid for it:rolleyes:
  19. Has anybody had trouble getting a diff cooler from Toyota recently. They tell me there are none in Europe and back orders seem to be taking ages to come from Japan.
  20. I read that as anything over 8.8mm is worn beyond its service limit and needs to be replaced.
  21. If you've just bought these slicks, you'll need my Longacre tyre temperature gauge - perfect condition, hardly used. PM if you're interested.
  22. At least two coil packs are showing higher than normal primary resistance - 1.2ohms hot compared to a new coil pack at 0.8ohms. More expense...
  23. That's not too bad then - thanks for the help, I'll give it a try. Am I right in thinking that the igniter pack performs the equivalent function of a mechanical distributor?
