Well it was more stage 2.5, but yeah the biggest difference is the overall size. I had the boost at only 0.9 bar and it was hitting about 266 and 255. Thing is, it was light as the entire rear was stripped out and roll caged. Very twity and about as comfortable as a three some with your mother in law! I have always loved the supras, they have real street presence that the old S13's just dont have (without exterior mods). I have driven a lot of the jap stuff, but the supra has always escaped me. I am possibly thinking of a R32 GT4 skyline, the 2litre turbo model, but a lot of the insurers are having problems finding them!

The maintenance element is not a problem as my old man has his own garage, so all stuff will be done at cost parts, no labour (well a 6 pack for the guys), fuel again is no problem I used to have a stage 3 drift spec S13 which was running about 12MPG It is really just the insurance that is a killer. Its not so much being able to afford the insurance, its more a case of being a bit sensible about it. I really do appreciate all the sound advice!

I think people are too self important nowadays to accept God existing and thus come up with stuff like that! Everyone has a right to believe in what they like. I dont thinkl they should be slated for it.

I had best keep dreaming as I only have 1 year, due to doing the whole 'on parents insurance' thing when i was at sixth form! Would an NA make much difference? Both times i have obtained quotes they have been rather painful!

Hi there, Have always wanted to get myself a supra, but being a youngun insurers always laughed and often even hung up! I went and bought myself a 318IS Coupe BMW and really miss JDM boost. I have owned a few S13 200sx and a Celica, but have been looking into Supra's more seriously recently, although several insurers still laugh at me! Hope to hear from you lot soon! Sam
