I'll put up some before being poorly pictures when home. Just discovered this iPhone app. Productivity is already down 10%.

Moi aussi! How have I not seen you?! I've got a (poorly) silver supra also. Similar to yours, but with added dents!

    Is that Caterham garage?
  4. It was recorded - you can watch him say it at least five times! 8 matches isnt enough for me. Scum like him deserve a season ban. Terry is even worse, but like Steve G, he will always get away with whatever he wants!!
  5. Afternoon all. I've decided I need something sooner rather than later due to work so it's up for sale for £1500. I'll post proper details in the for sale section later. Pretty gutted to be honest.
  6. Nope, they "cash settled" meaning it won't be registered as either. Happy days! I'll drop him a note.
  7. Well the insurer has come back to me with an offer and I think I might keep salvage and sell. Pretty gutted, but I need something now as I used if daily for work and have borrowed the partners Alfa since. If you're interested please send me a PM with an offer. Few extra details: It's 117,101 km on the clock, manual, full ss exhaust (sounds beautiful), rims, induction and alpine headunit. It's also got MOT until Sept 2012. Few months tax but I may claim this back.
  8. Before my current job I used to proof and journal write alongside my main employment, so let me know if I can help at all with the CV.
  9. I will get the complete list of repairs and let you guys analyse! I don't think anything major went boom, mainly cosmetic. Still, v annoying and having to amble around in the missus 147 which isn't quite the same. That's the one fella! You, like many others, don't believe me. The sad truth is it was the truth. You are not at your best when doing 40 and just ambling along... so it was a bit of a shock when the car just kept moving at 45 degree no matter what!
  10. How much for the drivers side front wing mate?

    Which curry?

Vindaloo! Gotta love the dragon's nostril!
  12. I had a similar issue before and it was due to a swollen ear canal. I'd go to the docs and they will either give you some antibiotics (if it is something similar) or possibly syringe it (which they did with me too). The tinnitus won't go away, but this will definitely help!
  13. Damn! I could have done with these. If anyone else has an OEM set going please let me know.
  14. Sadly, I ended up in a bit of an accident at the start of Dec and my pride and joy was hurt. More annoyingly, this accident occurred at about 40-45MPH whilst driving in slow traffic. Went to go past a lorry in the middle lane and hit a patch of what I assume was diesel, car just slides and the front end flicks towards the back wheels of the 18 wheeler, I manage to counter it, but not as the car continues into the central reserve. Pride heals, the car doesn't! Thankfully the lorry driver saw me in the side mirror and pulled over to offer assistance. Said he was spinning up as well, so I didn't feel like such a knob. Gave me his details and went on his way - thumbs up to him for being a nice guy! http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/4277/img0188copyn.jpg http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1313/img0189ie.jpg http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/4552/img0190ka.jpg Local body shop said its £3600 worth of damage, which I cannot see myself. 99.9% sure the insurer will write her off :-(
  15. Its the wear that bothers me, but I have managed to find a route that has minimal contact, just a mild tap as I go over. Still, hate the sound of it!
  16. Joined 5 years ago, but I only really posted a few weeks back. Apologies for the delay in paying though, things have been manic recently. Also was a plonker and didn't realise there was a nice and easy link to pay via subscription centre, as I was waiting on the Paypal account details. All done now!
  17. Thanks for the comments chaps. Yeah, it is the type where they fold down into the ground and then come back up. It just sounds horrible. I am going to try and find a way around it, but for the time being I will have to just deal wit hit. Its just the noise it makes the moment the front wheels come off the "pads" and it has this metal scrapping sound, its horrid!
  18. Nope, I am just going to tidy it up a bit, keep it a minter and maybe tweak a little with the inside (e.g. the gear knob cover could do with being replaced). Might put some bigger brakes on as well, but that is probably it. Thanks for all the nice comments - look forward to meeting some of you soon.
  19. Evening all, I am having a minor issue that the new rig cannot go over those car park bumps without having a bit of a scratch. I am going to take a look tonight to make sure it hasn't caused any damage. They are those ones where you can go over them, but cannot come back the other way. Worried its hitting some important, but didnt have a chance to look earlier. Anyone else experienced this? Its the work car park, so its not like I can avoid it (might start going in the out as that for some reason doesn't have them!).
  20. The indicators are no longer orange :-) However, the wheels need a bit of a refurb and some other little TLC bits and bobs. If there is a meet near Surrey I am there!
