  1. Sorry to jump in to your thread Hobgoblin, i may well av seen this silver one in Hereford as i deliver there 3 times a week, but i seen a black one 2 weeks ago with dark red leather interior and sounded mean, and looked the part aswell, nicest one i've seen for a while , cudn't get his plate tho ! Av you seen this around ?
  2. Welcome mate , not living too far away from you in Merthyr !
  3. Was looking for one of these a month ago , gutted this has come up in such good condition ! bought myself an after market one now, which i had a good deal on , so not too bad !
  4. Looks a very nice car in good condition, run a nitrous kit tho be careful it hasn't f***ed the engine . as for the thrust bearing i'm to believe it's when the clutch pedal is engaged it whirrs when the pedal is pushed down ! mine's been like it for over a year , with no dramatic effect ! yes it will one day go, and a whole new clutch assembley will be installed. Also say's needs to get rid for estate car, but will p/ex for Audi quattro ??? ( makes me think )
  5. Try Livingstones and Warman (01935 706258) put it under a classic insurance, but you are limited to 7,500 miles per annum ! and must be garaged . you also must be 30 yr's and over ! Mine came in at £290 for a n/a with no mods. happy days !!
  6. I really like that, only thing is it me or could the headlights do with a polish or is it he angle of the photo ! other than that bang on .
  7. Av a good un mate , Happy Birthday !!
  8. was my daily drive for the last 4 yr's up until this winter, when i live 20 miles away from work it was a nightmare getting up the valleys in the supe, so invested in a 4x4 this year , wot a god send ! supe currently sorn but should be on the road end of April, just in time for the nice weather to kick in ! HOPEFULLY !!
  9. Hi All ! Had my supra a few years now, and it's always bugged me about my rear number plate being smaller than the hole in the rear bumper, which left a gap of around 10mm along the top showing ! asked most number plate makers can they make my plate at least 10 mm higher to cover the gap , all said no this is the standard import size blah de blah etc.etc. Well the car is off the road now, so started tinkering around , took both plates off as they could do with a re vamp, and came across a company called " pimpmyplate" which make plate sizes on request and av a number of sizes available, one being the one i need they also do this 3d gel style plate which looks quite nice So if anyone looking for a plate not the standard import size, worth giving these guy's a tinkle http://pimpmyplate.com/
  10. who said you look like a 17yr old when you shave ur missus ! she was being too kind fella lol, love the xkr's
  11. Well this was a dare not lose game for Cardiff City today , as a few championship sides overtook us in the league yest. and of all teams it was against our arch enemies the the Swans (Jack B******'s) at their ground, where we avn't had a good result for over a decade. After a tense start we should av been 1.0 within 5 mins , the game was back and fo all game , with Cardiff aving the better chances ! with the game heading for a draw up steps the MAN ! love him or hate him (mostly hate:innocent:, but got to admit on his day a class player) Bellamy on 85mins curls a 30 yrd'r in off the post to win a cracking welsh derby and i'm such a happy guy this afternoon . Bluebirds ! Bluebirds !
  12. Looks ok ! not a lover of the eyebrows, but all to their own .
  13. Just been in touch with lynbrook classic £340 all in incl. breakdown cover for a n/a with a mileage of 5,000 per annum and livingstones waterman wanted £296 plus breakdown at £59 with a mileage of 7,500 per annum ! I'm 43yr's old but the advisor said, your no claims doesn't come into the equation on a classic ins. which was nice lol
  14. Anyone looking for a cheap exhaust at these difficult financial times may av a look at this ! looks similar to the motoria exhaust , which i've had on mine for the last 3 yr's without a prob. and a great sound to go with it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-2JZ-STAINLESS-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-/140490376813?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20b5e1066d
  15. Good guys these two , spreading their majic again i see ! as i'm keeping the car now, will endevour to use their services in the near future .
  16. Hi Mate, hopefully get my new camera this week and take a few pics ,better than those in my garage ! sadly this is a sz . got a few bits to go with her, brand new clutch/plate and bearing as one in car is whirring abit, been like this for ages common fault . two new rear wheel bearings, two new rear suspension arms and other bits i guess . New battery to be fitted, due to it standing in the bad weather ! bummer.
  17. Just being a bit more sensible mate , 3 cars and too many outgoings lol . will be sad to let her go , let me down once in 5yr's starter motor .
  18. Yeah me too ! feeling the blues, just put it up for sale ! 3 cars in the household and ever increasing tax/insurance and petrol just doesn't justify aving the three . so sadly the supe will av to go !

  20. Well after ownership of over 5 years now, it is time to sell the supra ! Bought first owner in the u.k 19/11/2006 with 55,526km's (jap import) Silver 199 1994 supra n/a 5 speed sz manual with around 80,000km's Asking around £2995 ( 5mth's mot / currently sorn) will put full 12mth's mot ENGINE : Standard. 3.0ltr 24v (magnecor leads/ apexi panel filter) Avital maxx1 alarm (2 key fobs) WHEELS : Wheelmania innovit 18" Dtm's black with chrome lip (standard all round, not staggered) Tyres 235/40/18 front good tread 5mm Tyres 245/40/18 back borderline 3mm (25mm hubcentric wheel spacers fitted) BRAKES : Painted red calipers Toyota oem brake pads all round covering around 4000 miles EXHAUST : Motoria cat back exhaust, been on car around 2 1/2yr's great sound, bit on deep burbly sound. INTERIOR : Standard cloth seats, darkened carpets, silver effect dash suround looks good not the cheap nasty thin stuff, no marks or nasty scuffs anywhere inside the car as i try and keep it in very good condition. ICE : Kenwood dpx503u cd unit, focal front speakers with kenwood rears ! BODYWORK : Generally in good condition for age of car, doluck early front end with black splitter with oem replica sideskirts and Trd half carbon rear wing and one off oem carbon wing mirrors. glass front headlights . SUSPENSION : Kyb rear shocks (year old) with Tein springs (year old) Bilstien yellow fronts (second hand) with Tein springs (year old) GOOD POINTS : Car has passed the last 5 Mot's first time,(last one with advisory for small oil leak) Car starts first time every time without fail . Car is well looked after, cleaned without fail and above average condition for age. BAD POINTS : In Feb 2007 car was submitted in a insurance claim , as i lost control doing 30mph around a roundabout, causing damage to my nearside front and rear wheels and front wing and skirt being damaged ! Insurance guy came around and wrote car off , saying there must be damage to the suspension. i challenged the decision as he didn't even move the car off the drive to inspect the underneath. and took it to a third party for close examination to Interpro bristol. where they performed a full geo check and replaced two springs in the front. with the cost of £500 the car was put right (you can confirm these actions with Jody on this forum, who worked on the car) and inspection report was sent to insurance company to clarify results. But the Dvla still class the car as a cat d until i get a sva test done to confirm it is fit for the road ! (but has passed every mot since without fail) Interior lights on the dashboard missing 1 or 2 on heater controls etc Open rear diff , which means it's a bit twitchy in the bad weather , Electric ariel motor stuck, ariel placed halfway on car permanantly. Common fault engine management light and oil light on dash not lighting up on turn of the key , due to dry solder, needs to be resolderd, try and get this done asap . Timing belt needs to be changed. Can't download pics at mo for some reason , will try and sort this out asap some pics in my garage Viewing welcome , work long hr's in the week, so weekends would be better ! as mentioned currently sorn . £2995

Just bought a panasonic tx-p42g20b42 from laskys.com for £599 !! as part of the comet group, i was suprised it was £100 cheaper than comet, pays to search around . peoples reviews on their aftersales is not very good, but supposed to have had it delivered friday, due to severe weather they rang saturday to explain and said they would try sunday, which i thought yeah, yeah and to my suprise 10:00am a phone call, saying can i pick it up at comet merthyr,as they can't get around the side streets, luckily enough i've just purchased a 4x4 and off i went to pick it up ! (so no bad press here) jobs a good one. (cracking T.V by the way )
