The thermostat isn't what tells the fan to kick in. The fan switch has a different sensor which you can locate by following the wires back from the fan to the switch. it is usually a plug type sensor located on a hose or at the bottom of the rad or block I'm not too sure where on your car

Are sure that the vehicle was definately SORNed. If yes then all you need to do is Tax it from 1st of which ever relevant month. If No then DVLA will fine you for time you have owned vehicle for the period not taxed. Try bridging the fan so it has permanent connection to make sure it working at all cos even if it is thermostat or blockage the fan should have kicked in to cool it. If you do bridge it and it works try running car for a couple of days with fan permanently running and see if over heats then. If it doesnt then you will know that it is the fan switch that needs replacing which is the cheaper option.

Does the paseenger side lock work so that it unlocks the driver door so you can shut the door??

Nutkin drove us to the lorry park on boxing day. No one at all about so used the opportunity to practise and as you say once started less throttle does the trick. Best donuts he has done since he had the supra. Previously Nutkin was driving his toyota previa 2.4i and that is excellent for donuts and drifting. you will probably have seen him at Basildon in it. It is well known down there because really quite rare and unusual to see a people carrier like that doing such things.

Duxford is a good place to visit. you don't see many planes taking off, unless a special flight has been booked, but you can get right close up to all sorts of planes and tanks etc I think a very nice day out

Southend really isn't busy enough to keep entertained. I don't think there is a viewing platform anymore at stansted but there is at Heathrow but it costs now to go up there...can't remember how much, sorry

A year ago i was 19st and a size 24 in clothes I am now 15st and a size 16-18 in clothes ande am working at getting down to 11st and size 12-14 in clothes. I am 5ft 10". Waist 38" Chest 42" and shoe size 8. I have joined a gym and am drinking plenty of water especially before I go food shopping
