  1. Good card - installed mine about a month ago, along with a Dual Core Intel. Fast as fook. Got a quad core MOBO though. Wow gives frame rates of over 190FPS with everthing at full res. Only problem is the Vista drivers are a little buggy at the moment. 9785 3D Marks (2006) under Vista 13127 3D under XP
  2. Does the technician not mind? how the hell does he sit down?
  3. Thanks Lewis. God knows where Woot came from, think i picked it up in WoW. And before you ask - WoW - World Of Warcraft For those that care - Copied from Google: The term "w00t" is a slang interjection used to express happiness or excitement, usually over the Internet. The expression is most popular on USENET posts, multiplayer computer games (especially first-person shooters), IRC chats, and instant messages, though use on the World Wide Web in the form of weblogs or in forums is by no means uncommon

  15. A big thanks to Heckler (Si) for coming down today and converting my beloved soop to Blue Leds. Its a top job, and i can whole heartedly recomend this upgrade. It was also nice to know that theres a few of you guys from the Norwhich area, as Ive seen fook all Supra's on the road. Ian C, Alex H ( who bought my old car a few years back ) and another from Thetord who's name ive managed to forget. Cheers Heckler!
  16. if that dont work, tell em Dave wants a copy.
  17. Ive been waiting 21 days now for a set of the D2 brakes of Ebay, which were allegedly in Essex.... As someone has already said though, Paypal will always err on the side of the purchaser so just give it time. and cross your fingers
  18. We run CentOs on all our IVR kit , which is rock solid. Over 40 servers, all on CentOs, never a peek out of them. As someone said, its basically Red Hat , but for Free!
  19. Why havent they sent a woman to the moon? It doesnt need cleaning yet. Man: Doctor, Doctor, ive got a strawberry up my arse. Doctor: Mmmmm, ive got some cream for that.
  20. Basically, Set the office network up on say 192.168.0.x Home network on 192.168.1.x you create a vpn connection with a gatway address of the external IP address of the remote site ( static ) or the dynamic name using dyndns (for dhcp assigned external ip address ). The routers ususally allow you to enter your DYNDNS account so it updates the server whenver the IP changes... Do that on both routers. then from home type ping 192.168.0.1 and it will create a secure connection to the remote network and start pinging. You can then use UNC paths etx (\\192.168.0.2\) to browse the network., Weve got about 7 sites set up here ( 2 office, 5 colos ) all using Zyxel zywalls - works a treat.
  21. Your contract will state your entitlements. For instance, just by attending a board meeting, you can be classed as a shadow director, but you wont get any of the benefits associated with being a director. However, in the eyes of law, you get all the responsibility so make sure you know the ins and outs of the business.
  22. to do it safely just get a couple of Zyxel ADSL or Cable routers and use the VPN function to create one network. The Zyxel's and Netgears all support Dynamic DNS , so you wont have any problems. Theres loadsa other ways to do it, but as its a business, do it properly.
  23. Sign up to easynews for £5 a month and download all the films you'll ever want in .divx format. Fast downloads too, i usually get around 880k a sec.
