  1. Normal phone lines out there were far too expensive. Skype works ok when it works, but for business calls it never really cut the mustard as the lag and echo was just too severe. It really all comes down to how good the bandwidth is in your location - our Guy Matt now uses a normal SIP phone connected to our network direct, but recently Thialand lost one of their seabed routes and now the connections are reall bad: weve had to resolt to mobile calls as a cost of around £1 a minute. SIP providers have a few extra tricks available to them to get you the best quality call but hey, it all depends what works for you.
  2. Skype is poop - well, maybe its a bit harsh to say that, but its not a proper phone system and has problems as it tries to compress the DTMF tones and due to their own protocol things like .info and out of band signalling arent available to Skype. 2p is very high as well, we pay around .53p. If you think Kos is cheap, our Telesales guy is in Thailand! Cost of living for him is £93 a month!!!! Its also good fun to go visit him
  3. Its a well known fact that the ECU is suspended in Fluidic Space, its all to do with Quantums. If you open it, the Supra will cease to exist.
  4. Ho Hum Spent all morning trying to get a contact with Fibernet (Global Crossing) but they are useless! Im looking for someone who can terminate VOIP traffic (sip) onto the LCR, rather than dealing with Voip breakout in each country . We need to terminate around 600 calls at once for our voice blast systems (used for USA Senate voice blast) and have them delivered onto TDM int he USA. Does anyone here know of any companies that could help, or better yet, have a contact for anyone at Fibernet? Thanks
  5. Lol, Sounds like hes setting up a real classy business - only founded on 26/2/2007 and using thirdhand technology. Nice reply, i would of done my typical 'piss off' response.
  6. That'll piss everyone in Norfolk off then! only goin to Cromer ( about an hour away from me )
  7. It wont rain until Monday, as thats when i go on Holiday (uk)
  8. I had this with BigH's car. Someone had fitted a bleed valve, and removed a boost controller before he picked the car up.. The pipework wasnt put back properly , and there was nothing controlling boost. Both the VSV and the actuator pipework were capped off and boost was creeping upto 1.34 bar. putting the pipework back to standard soon sorted this out, but it took me ages to realise it was wrong.
  9. Thor no longer do their FCD... which is a shame - they are now recomedning the Greddy unit.

  13. Hi Can i have one of everthing please.
  14. I think you maybe need to read between the lines.
  15. There were a lot of bad cars made to look good, most notably the Eclipse, Toretto's RX7 and Edwins Acura: they were made to look good using sticky backed plastic and cardboard!
  16. Have a look at book ISBN 1 84425 024 5 'The Cars of The Fast and the Furious' Has details on all cars, specs, intro from the directors, stunt coordinators etc: really good book if your into the cars. Read it and cry at the amount of money they spent on then blew up!
  17. Mine were exactly the same, a good 1-2cm from the glass , but i couldnt move them nearer otherwise they wouldnt cover the existing supra mirror holes. I didnget get mine from Nic, but will be purchasing a replacement pair shortly as they look kinda silly.
  18. wreck on back of lorry was a NA. Bit of jiggery pokery and they replaced it with a TT Supra ( although it was a single ). All the stunt Supras were Turbo'd ( there were not any NA Supras / NA-T in the studio stunt lineup)
  19. It was a street racers car used for the film - they insisted on a few mods to get it to the studios spec - theres an excelletn book they used to sell in Halfrauds, 'The Cars of F&F' which has full specs on all the cars, the builds, the stunts etc. Worth a read ( i keep it by the toilet ) The car was rented to Universal Studios by Craig Lieberman - it was bright green when it came into the studio. The only other change was the Graphics. The Poo brown Supra in 2F2F was one of the many orange stunt Hero Supras from the 1st film and was taken direct from the universal studio's warehouse for mods: quite a few of them in fact ( Turbo upgrade kit, fuel rail, injectors and Nitrous ) I love the film, watch it loads and its definately what got me into the Supra, sold my BMW Clubsport off on ebay the very next day to watching the film ( at a loss of some £13,000 ) just so i could own my very own. Sold it to Alex a few months later after picking up my first ban.
  20. Hi Guys Im working on a little project and need some car pictures with white backgrounds ( so they can be used on a website ) - if you have any link of images, and you are willing to share could you please drop me a pm or email to [email protected] thanks all
  21. Daily driver for me too, anywhere between 1000 - 3500 miles per month.
