The fly wheels are known to be faulty on models between 04-07, not cheap to replace. My stepson recently bought one (1.6 Zetec) thankfully the dealership replaced it. The story goes that a faulty batch of fly wheels where to blame.

Our system of government has always been ruling class, whoever get's elected will continue along the same unfair/corrupt route, we pay while they play smoke and mirrors, conning the very people who elected them. They keep the majority of us just where they want us and the only time you ever see them come down from their ivory towers is when they want to be elected and even then it's see-saw politics between Labour and the Conservatives who to be honest are all but identical these days. The British people are like mushrooms....fed s**t and kept in the dark. The unspoken welcome for newly elected MP's is "Welcome on board the gravy train old boy".

If anyone knows of a good Mondeo 2.0 Ghia X (MK2 facelift), Toyota Carina 2.0 or a Nissan Primera 2.0 could you let me know or post a link etc. Ideally a hatchback with no more than 80k ish on the clock, good service history, auto and air-con are a must. My beloved Lexus LS400 sadly has to make way for a motorbike project here are the details: Lexus LS400 1998 “R” Reg. 280bhp V8 VVTI Engine. 104,956 miles with full service history (13 Stamps) Finished in Gold with beautiful cream leather interior. The car has recently had a full service which included timing belt, water pump (replaced as a matter of course) plugs and front pads. A huge list of standard features include Satellite Navigation, heated seats all round, drivers memory seat. Air Con etc. A lovely example of a properly maintained LS400, as you would expect everything works as it should and the drive is faultless. I belong to the Lexus Owners Club and have cherished this car. Included are three sets of keys, both hand books, and a large folder of receipts to support the maintenance carried out. One years MOT and Two months tax. £3,495 ono. Please pm for further details/pictures.
