dig a hole where the posts go make thepost 6-8inches overlong , whack in with a sledge hammer till flush ,of the joist, concrete in ,not going anywhere, if decking is a height of ground ,4x3 posts , ive done loads ,never move

the best way is to make your frames up, then join them both up.level it with wood chocks, but have a slight fall so water wiil drain. depends on hoiw hi gh off floor but best to put some 3x3 posts in the ground and screw into joists .nice and strong, ive done 6 this year have a look at my website might get some ideas http://www.adhomeservices.com/page3.htm
