Regarding boot times, why don't you use "hibernation" instead of powering down. Then the computer is ready to use in less than 10 seconds from being woken.

Looks MUCH cleaner without the brace. Why put something in the way of that engine?!* *Speaking purely of aesthetics edit number 2: by the way, I had reservations about the amount of work that went into the engine bling, but that looks fantastic!

I paid 595 for both eyes, when Optimax had a special on lol. Most people would rather pay more money for peace of mind, but I was skint at the time, and their service was fantastic actually

I had the burning eye ball smell too lol Just smells like burnt skin or hair. Mine was done at Optimax 10 years ago, best money I ever spent - by miles. I do feel that my low level light vision is not what it should be, but it very rarely affects me, and has never been a problem.

LED lit LCD you mean? IMO plasma is still the best compromise. LCDs in big screens look terrible with SD material.

Admittedly, I've also never seen it in the flash. But knowing how you like to keep your car (New OEM standard) I don't think I would go with flocking. Mint OEM for me.

So something thats running is causing the problem. If you type "msconfig" into the Winsdows/Start Menu/Run... and press Enter. You can disable Start up items in there and hopefully find out whats causing the problem. And its probably worth downloading/run/scan with malwarebytes anti malware and spybot search and destroy. Probably do that first actually, as its easier.
