  1. Alright fellas, I have just been to Toyota to get them to re-align my doors as they are scuffing the paint on my OEM side skirts. They have dropped a couple of mm at the back of the doors. The bloke I spoke to was very helpful and came and had a good look at my car, but did not think it could be done. He said there was no adjustment. Is this true ? Cheers, Gordon.
  2. Mo, just to clear a possible point of confusion that I had. The aspect ration is a Percentage of the Width of the tyre. so a 245/40/18 is NOT the same sidewall height as a 275/40/18.
  3. If you go to mkiv.com select tech articles and scroll down to ................"documented / recorded mechanical problems" about half way down the list just before "problem solvers", you should see it.
  4. Mkiv.com Tech articles. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/boostguage/bg.htm Gordon.
  5. TRL Performance do a little box (TRLFCon) for £20+vat to do this. Check the site: trlperformance.com Application Specifically for the MKIV Supra, converts the second brake lights to act as fog lights, whilst still remaining operational as a brake light, so you don't lose functionality of any brake, reversing lights etc. Installation Just 6 wires to connect. I would definately advise your customer to do this option rather than the extra light. Gordon.
  6. I have a 6 speed J-spec with front cat removed and apexi exhaust. I hit fuel cut as low as 5500 rpm, depending on weather. VFCC before the summer.............. Gordon.
  7. I would guess it's almost certainly the tire. Gordon.
  8. It looks much better with the indicators removed from the bumper imo. Look at Nathans supe (exterior) for the relocation, as per my (Andys) car. http://www.tdi-plc.com/nathan/indexframe.html Mr Plow. Gordon.
  9. Did you check the "free FCD mod " pictures, as they are easier to see whats going on. See attached: I just T'd between A and B (on the FCD mod pics) and plugged the vacuum tube into the guage. It seems to work as it should. Gordon.
  10. What about the Bridgestone 03s ? I am also looking to get some tires soon, and need good wet road traction. I guess it's the Eagle F1's or the 03's. I dont think they do f1s in the sizes I want tho (255/35/18 and 285/30/18). Gordon.
  11. Cheers for the info, I think I'll still go with BCC though. Gordon.
  12. Alright fellas, I am looking for a boost cut remover. Mkiv.com 'highly recommends' the BCC and rates the FCD as 'not recommended'. I read the explanation and it seems reasonable. Yet everyone here seems to go FCD. Can anyone explain why? Cheers
  13. Cheers fellas. unfortunately I only really want to spend around 2 grand with tyres. And I was thinking of the UK (easily) available brands such as BBS, BK, League, Kahn etc. Are the US/Jap brands easy to obtain (Whif ?)? Thanks again, Gordon.
  14. Hello, I am looking to get some 18's for my J spec. I would like to upgrade the brakes at a later date, and so would be gratefull to anyone that could post which 18's they have that fit over the UK brakes. hopefully I could get a list of possibilities as I am having difficulty getting this information from alloy dealers. Cheers for your time. Gordon.
