  1. Im now in a position to think about where to get my supra resprayed. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good job. I want to keep it the same colour so its not that difficult an i have the paint code an a rough price would be helpfull. I live in brentwood in essex but i dont mind travelling 100 miles for good job.
  2. I have one but the off side arm i have taken off but the rack still has the steering pump attached. If its your pump thats gone u can replace the arm i have taken off with your one. The supra it came off was the same as mine a 93 TT auto im sure there all the same.
  3. I need for my 93 TT a front drivers hub and wheel bearing assembly. After my accident i have now found out iv bent the part of the hub that connects the steering rack to the hub so hub needed now. My supra does have ABS
  4. The likely reason why the cat was broke is when the head gasket goes the engine sends unburnt petrol down the exhaust. This isnt good for the cat it ruins it its one of the worst ways to kill a cat or send it on its way out. Just thought id let u know.
  5. Did he ahve white shopping list on his doors?if so it was gooner on his way to meet us at thurrock services. He was running very late and was frantic that he was keeping us all waiting.
  6. It sounds like your planning something or have a problem which is it an what is it. What i will say is that if its majorly out of balance for any reason it will seperate quicker an will probably get a vibration through the car.
  7. If i were u i would ring the garage an get them to sort it out cause if its broken or not fitted right u dont want to know the damage it can cause the gearbox
  8. The cars were great the weather ok cause it didnt rain or snow. There was no action out on the roundabout i was tempted to drift in my previa but no one else was playing so i didnt. The way back home was fun me gooner an friends in a 100+ leptons race home plus a green supra joined our play at some part but i dont think he was at ace.
  9. He's just told me that the looks he gets are amusing the only thing is he cant keep going back to the same place.
  10. My friend has a turbo diesel 306 an he's running it on 50/50 diesel an veg oil but even after all my slating of him i drove it last night an it actually runs better i need to know peoples veiws on this. Its not fair im running the supra an its costs me a fortunes i dont get no cheap option im not happy. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif
  11. I just read the idea of the tip-ex thats a bloody good idea simple but effective i like it
  12. Whats the chances they will have one so they can conferm this cause when i last ordered this part last week they sent me £45 worth of the wrong part. So the bottom timing belt cog an this sensor disc is one part just mine is free of it i have moved the cog towards to see an its just spinning on its own.
  13. I got the parts already there just stacked up iv just got to sort out the timing belt an then it can all go back together so i can anoy the local plod again. I dont need the bottom cog cause it just skimmed the belt so didnt touch the pulley just screwed the belt an the sensor dics
  14. U think thats bad the bottom pulley came off left me with no power steering an sent me into a lamp post so u can add to ure list a wing a bonnet a steering rack a bumper a full respray
  15. Hang on am i missing something u have been stripping down your engine but dont have the tools to take the pump off please enlighten me on how u stripping it down the pumps probably four bolts an a pipe.
  16. Ok i didnt want to tell anyone cause im a bit of a plum but heres how i bent it. The bottom pulley for the altenator has two holes in with thread in them i thought that i could put two very long thirteen mill bolts in them an screw them in an would draw the pulley off like on some rear brake drums on some cars but i now found out it is not. I went threw the timing belt plastic cover an chaffed the timing belt its self an then the bolts hit the sensor dics an damaged them. But it did draw the bottom pilley off. THERE U GO I SAID IT NOW U CAN LAUGH IM A PLUM
  17. That sound like the kiddy so what is it or do i have to go to toyota's parts department an drag them across the counter so to speak lol. Not sure what a woodruff key is but sounds good the disc i need has a notch in it that slots in the bottom cog so it spin with it for the sensor.
  18. Iv been sent the fax with the pics an its not even on there it may be that the bottom pully that the timing belt runs on is all one part but mine is definatly seperate now can u please help im doing my nut being told i need a new crank. Im not sure who i spoke to.
  19. Look at how much the water pump is an if its not fortunes then get a new pump its quicker an less agro.
  20. The hard part is to undo the bolt an keep the pulley still an the bolt is a normal thread not left handed. Then u need a pulley remover just watch u dont catch the rad or ul need one of those as well.
  21. The hole is a core plug that if car freezes it pushes it out insted of cracking the water pump. U can get a new core plug to go in. The best thing to do is take the water pump off an replace the core plug that way. As long as u mean the part that i think u mean.
  22. Yep thats the pulley the same that came off mine. My belt stayed on also, your power steering should have stopped working an the battery light come up on dash. New pulley from toyota £200 new belt from local parts shop £12 Your lucky it didnt do any damage.
  23. Well probably not all toyota's just toyota Romford parts department. My car is a 93 TT I have a problem there is a bottom crank sensor at the front of the engine just next to the altenator. The pick up is just behind the pulley that the timing belt runs off. The pick up is a round disc with teeth around the edge for the sensor to pick up on an sits on the back of the bottom timing belt pulley. But this must be wrong cause Toyota Romford have told me i need a new crank cause it must be the part. How useless are they, can some one help me please with a part number or has anyone got this that lives close to me in brentwood essex. As u can tell im not happy an having a little rant an rave
  24. The answers easy GET A NEW FRIEND lol
  25. I let my friend drive mine but only if its light dry an if im in a good mood she is also alot older than me like nearly double my age so i feel sort of safe her driving it but still have the 'what if's'
