  1. Rear of this car is ugly as hell. Interesting read about 6.6l engine doing impressive mpg figures. Hope it will come true. I'm just wondering, what goverment will do with this mahoosive capacity and power (yet economical) engine at the time they promote 1.1 sheds
  2. Daman mate, please clear your box as my pm with address is still hanging unconfirmed...

    HID info

You shouldn't need harness to CHECK hids. Just connect ballast to light connector, leave bulb in plastic protection surround and switch on the lights. If it's not lightning up, put plug which is coming onto light connector other way around. That's it really... Ballast should at least give some buzzing sound at start, even if bulb is not catching up. If you want to try harness, you can get one for like 7 pounds from e-bay. What indicating you to "I do not need harness" idea? Harness is really used in first crucial (and most wanted by you) moment, when bulbs are getting a LOT of current to warm up. This phase take around 4 sec and after that they drop down to normal. People installing harnesses, when standard built in car system cannot handle additional power drain and simply do not lit up bulbs Harness allow you to drain power staright from battery, bypassing Supras light system (which is kinda delicate and crap).
  4. But isn't it point of this advert? Even if it is disturbing, you will still remember name of product
  5. Go there, it's one life time opportunity, if she cannot understand this, she is not worth your attention.
  6. When you are waiting for new O2 sensors, you can use temporary solution and clean old ones, it should keep them going for some time. You will need to change them anyway, as it was said before, they have limited lifespan and cannot be refurbished. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=152779&highlight=sensors+clean
  7. 1. SteveR + Kate + Daniel (aged 5) 2. Ian R (aged 13) 3. Pete + Vicki (aged 33) 4. TrickTT (aged approx mid 30's ish) 5. AlexM (mid 20s) 6. Burna (11 Stone 12 Pounds) 7. konio-nt + Jola (aged 18, always 18)
  8. Yes, Shane did it on NA engine. Also it's worth to mention, that supercharging is quite cheap
  9. Go for it And to keep you going: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=f55_1218548389
  10. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926 You have to be member. Just a teaser: "Problem 4: I can't get any boost on the first turbo, it oscillates around a low boost pressure."
  11. Actually it is first turbine you should be carefull with. Second one on stock engine is going in quite soft. First turbo will start spooling at 1500rpm and from there it's getting very quick You shouldn't really be afraid about acceleration, be rather carefull with SPEED. I found, that from the time I swapped engine in my, I'm using my brakes WAY more then when she was NA.
  12. Well it's correct , but Scots was either shouting and growling without any sense at all ( some things never change ) or speak in 14 century style (done by Sean Connery wannabe and scotish version of sheriff from Nottingham). Most was said or done by pure english breed
  13. Will be there of course, steaks are delicious!
  14. Just seen this one, what a cack... Everyone trying hardest they can to show it's England with all those "bloody", "peeseeng outside" etc. Scenario is such simple, that you can feel your IQ dropping down to suit it. Bentley "chase" is a joke, car is moving like 1.0 Micra, everyone including pushbikes getting all over it. Waste of time... Edit: to be fair, Rhona Mitra looks nice, she is well fit
  15. Yeah it's indeed some kind of sensor which is getting into small ,rubber covered hole in airbox, your is just broken. Just had a look at my NA... So my first guess was wrong, sorry. To my defence I can only say that outside temp sensor looks the same, just hanging around in bumper area
  16. Anyone? Maybe around Birmingham or generally around 35-40 miles radius?
  17. The pump is oem j spec, I had ugly dark green/grey/gold one too when I was swapping for Walbro pump. No idea about hoses with screws on them tho, sorry.
  18. Just got back from testing TTC and I have to admit, that I like it Power delivery is smooth, gradiual and after 3,5k rpms car is starting to run like headless chicken. Had a brown pants moment, when she lost grip at 3rd gear for couple seconds. I think I will stick to TTC for some time and try and get some simple piggyback ecu to deal with fuel. Edit: I just would like to add my Supra is 6speed manual, so TTC saves me wiggling with gears all the time. When driven in rage tho, is suits me as short ratio keeps me over 3,5k all the time so full boost through all gears
  19. If I remember correctly it's just outside temp sensor.
  20. Shane supercharged his Supra, pm him
  21. ... to take NA engine out of my Hilux boot If anyone around Wolverhampton area have one and can borrow it for let's say 2 hours, I would really appreciate it I will pick it up of course
  22. Rats are great, my sister had female one, very intelligent, she was walking next to you like a dog, when she knew that she will get something tasty to eat
