Sabrina - it's connector inside the door - either got wet or just slightly rusty. It's white with 3 pins inside. I haven't got the picture now, but it's located more or less in the middle of drivers side door. Disconect it, treat it with connector cleaner and it should start working fine again. As a side note - it have nothing to do with alarm type

Haha, this rusty patches are not proper rot, it's getting off with sandpaper Few pics shows proper solid underseal underneath the car, there is just 4 places which will need some weld, rest of the bodywork needs proper sanding down/sandblasting

Went on a shopping spree last week and got this liitle gem trailered back to my house. If SoundMax test is confirmed and working properly, I would say, that there is something messing in Windows drivers itself. Maybe try changing sound driver (default device) in Sound and Audio Devices? Do you have any choice at all? Update DirectX to get some DirectSound files updated? Check balance between Front and Rear speakers too (trivial but worth a shot). Common sense is saying rear speakers should work fine :/

Are your volume controls for rear speakers are also set on max and unmuted? Do you have seperate volume control for side/front/rear/center/sub ? What test do you use to check all speakers?
