When I had my Hilux, I did buy Falkens AT's and they was good for long winter and -25C in Poland If it comes to lift, maybe try bodylift first to see how it feels. You can get kit quite cheap and all it needs is 8 or 10 screws to change A lot of info on http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk

Make sure head is uprated on this one as 2.4TD are well known for head cracking. Other than that Lovely truck, I used to have one and they are faultless, you can also drive on veg oil @Jamie Buy decent Landcruiser for around 4k and modify it yourself. Very good set of lift up suspensions costs around 1500 pounds and wheels will cost another 1500 I bought mine Landcruiser for 2k lol

It's not true. Schegen zone means only that there is no border control between members countries, just simple info sign about what country you are entering. You do not need any visa or even a passport if you have National Identity Card to travel between all EU member countries and few others.
