It is not only distance to exchange - it is also how many users are online and using service at same time. If someone wants to sell me 16 Mbits connection for fiver - I call him liar. There is always some small print somewhere "up to 14 Mbits". You will probably never see 14 Mbits anyway. I have 2 Mbits connection from blueyonder, never called their customer support so I have no idea about weather in Bombay, what I know tho is that I have this connection from 2 years, never had ANY issue with it, receving pure 2 Mbits (which is enough for 4 computers in my LAN) and i do not need any modem or login/password crap on router/my computer, because this connection is on 24h/7 (modem is logging in by itself).

Haha I was exactly same confused at the start with my Nokia N70 - before I got Nokias only too, but with hmmm normal, old menu and few nice shortcuts. Do not worry, you will get used to it after 1-2 weeks and you will personalise navigation buttons - from there it will be way easier.

Just a quick question - why you use firewall on your computer, when you can use with same sucess rate one on your router? This one on router should be even more effective actually, as it is outside LAN.
