    Price Guide??

It is too high... Even for UK version. I would say it is worth 8k maximum Contact Jurgen from our forum (he is importer) or CJ (he is usually selling Supras already registered in UK) - both in trader section of this forum, both have very good opinion.
  3. Happy for you There - you can paint it too! http://www.konio.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/homer.jpg
  4. Hello all I received today authorisation from super moderator Mawby to organise group buy of stainless steel dials (similiar to those made by metal monkey). Almost 2 months ago I got inspired by Sheefa's group buy of speaker brackets and decided I will try to do something similiar. My choice is ss dials, as price of those here seems to be kinda high. As you all know, I'm from Poland and my g/f Jola is doing regular trips there from England in her own bussinesses. Few weeks ago I asked in Parts Wanted section for original auto Supra dials and thanks to SatSport's generous decision I got them. Dials was sent to Poland, Jola took them 2 days ago to regional, professional company, who is cutting various metals using laser and projecting various metal things - including gauges and car dials. Probably tommorow I will get answer about costs of doing those dials (there will be choice of what dials will be made from - ss, aluminium etc...). This group buy is NON PROFIT which means I'm doing it, because it is, how club spirit should work, also because I have easy access to cheaper workforce and lower material costs. Once project will be ready and prices given, I will order one set, which will be later send here. I will put it into my car, make pictures for forum purposes, also will invite member turbonut to make independent review. This group buy is for dials only - it means - speedo, rev dial and fuel dial. If someone would like also ss dials located at odometer panel - I can do those too, but i will need to ask someone to send me original ones as a sample for company, who is doing my order (those will be returned once company will make computer project). I expect price to be at least 1/3 lower than lowest one offered by metal monkey, if there will be better offer (as dials will go to few companies for valuation) I will choose this, which i will feel gives best combination of price/quality. Money will be gathered once dials will be tested, reviewed, photographed etc etc. If one review will be not enough, I will prolly visit Stourbridge for more opinions (Pete, Burma, Sheefa...) Thank you Konrad

    Sad story...

Taken from another forum Late last week, I was rushing around trying to get some shopping done for my son 's forthcoming birthday. I was stressed out and a little irate. It was dark, cold, and wet in the car park as I was loading my car up with gifts that I felt obligated to buy. I noticed that I was missing a receipt that I might need later. So mumbling under my breath, I retraced my steps to the shopping centre entrance. As I was searching the wet pavement for the lost receipt, I heard a quiet sobbing. The crying was coming from a poorly dressed boy of about 12 years old. He was short and thin. He had no coat. He was just wearing a ragged old football shirt to protect him from the cold night's chill. Oddly enough, he was holding a fifty pound note in his hand. Thinking that he had got lost from his parents, I asked him what was wrong. He told me his sad story. He said that he came from a large family. He had three brothers and four sisters all of whom also had birthdays imminent just like my little boy. His father had died when he was nine years old. His mother was poorly educated and worked two full time jobs. She made very little to support her large family. Nevertheless, she had managed to skimp and save one hundred pounds to buy her children birthday presents. The young boy had been dropped off, by his mother, on the way to her second job. He was to use the money to buy presents for all his siblings and save just enough to take the bus home. He had not even entered the shopping centre, when an older boy grabbed one of the fifty pound notes and disappeared into the night. "Why didn't you scream for help?" I asked. The boy said, "I did." "And nobody came to help you?" I wondered. The boy stared at the pavement and sadly shook his head. "How loud did you scream?" I inquired. The soft-spoken boy looked up, tears in his eyes and meekly whispered, "Help me!" I realised that absolutely no one could have heard that poor boy cry for help. So I grabbed his other fifty pound note and legged it back to my car.
  7. Originally it is 18'' on drivers and 20'' on passenger side, but I installed 20'' on both and working fine - just needed to correct wiper arm a little (mine was set too close to bonnet on passenger side). Ordered from: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/accessories_workshop/ If you are member here, you got delivery for free. Usually they send in 2 days time, if stuff is on stock - you can get white wipers there

    300 Review

Seen it yesterday in cinema. Scenario very simple and boring, BUT hell! Those fight scenes + music + camera work + sarcastic Leonidas's and his companion comments toward Xerkses and his emissaries - this was worth getting through boring part of movie
  18. Ahhh good old times of Red Alert, loved it!
  19. Nope, I'm living next to Dunstall Race course
  20. Just one more small update, costed me total around 20 pounds total (paint, laquer, polishing compound and plastic covers) to de-wiper and de-spoiler my car (and is still reversible):
  21. I't is altered, those wheels are not from this Supra, unless this one can turn rear wheels too...
  22. Found some FAQ about it, it says: "Rim diameter is the diameter of the rim where the inner circumference of the tire seats, not the rims maximum diameter. A wheel will nearly always measure an inch larger than the tire it will accommodate at its maximum diameter" Measured alloys and got 18,5 inch. So tires suitable for this alloys will be R18 or R17?
  23. Let's say you just got alloys, without information on any sticker or w/e. How you can find out what's rim diameter of your alloys? How to measure it?
