  1. you should hear injectors on 1jz haha
  2. Hi Ash, where are you located?I have stetoscope at my garage, so if you are around Wolverhampton, you are welcome to pop in and I can have a look
  3. Hi Greg, I used Tiger Seal for at least 4 sets and no condensation etc. I did heat up old headlight cases too to make old sealant soft and just refill empty spots with Tiger seal and then push lenses back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/U-POL-TIGER-SEAL-BLACK-310ML-SEALANT-/160999373864?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item257c4f7c28
  4. Decat your NA completely, does not do any harm and in my subjective opinion car is more responsive to throttle It will be noisy tho, so be warned!
  5. If you consider ALL UK members, Derby is way more central than Toyota HQ. Trolling?
  6. I think that Derby factory is a bit more central than Toyota HQ and probably have more space and more interesting things to see?
  7. She is rough and she do not really handle this Supra very well, erratic and pointless gear changes etc. She looks way better on photochopped pics *sigh*

    NA misfiring

No wonder you have a lot of water there considering type of bonnet lol
  9. Might be rear shocks gone or warped rear discs.
  10. Would be great if you could say what was causing Supra to not start in the first place, it might help others looking for solution
  11. Looks like damaged bumper, bonnet and maybe crash bar? Nothing too bad really lol
  12. Scott save yourself a heartache and do TT conversion. By the time you will finish gathering all stuff for NA-T + cost of mapping it properly, you will have decent TT conversion. I might have 1JZ engine coming out from my Supra soon (i'm going 1UZ way), can do complete conversion for you and you can see engine running.
  13. Looks exactly like one in Supra manual about 2jz gearbox.
  14. I will swap 1JZ for 1UZ in my Supra soon, so if you are interested I can do NA-TT conversion using healthy and clean 1JZ engine for 1900 pounds including installation and wiring. I'll change water pump and cambelt and Nodalmighty from this forum will do all the wiring.
  15. Solenoids can be replaced, if i remember correctly there was plug to disconnect and one (?) screw to take off and solenoid will slide out. Aisin is doing replacement solenoids, but considering price, I would just go for used autobox and replace it all together Do not give up on old one tho, when I had GS300 with shot gearbox and I just took my time to dismantle it and have a look inside, I did learn a lot about them
  16. It's worth mentioning that you check transmission oil level when car is IDLING. If you did not check oil filter, I insist you do that. Take off sump and it's looking straight at your face, 3 10mm bolts and it's off. At the same time you can check solenoids (round tubes with connectors at one end) if any of them is broken.
  17. I can add that sometimes you might struggle to start the car up when one of battery clamps is loose or cracked :-)

    Engine ground

Front and rear of inlet manifold according to manual
  19. ignition coil, spark plugs and fuel filter would be my first checks.
  20. With engine crane and clear access to underneath the car you should manage it in 3-5 hours time :-)
  21. I think that TRD one is washable too, but I would advice to stick to original Toyota one As you said before - invest money in double decat, there you will feel real difference (be aware of noise tho! )
  22. Stock box is pushing enough air for an engine to run properly. Keep it as it is, if you really want to change something, look for some decent panel filter. Cone filter (Apexi being only reasonable one) would need a lot of heat shielding to be as effective as stock box one.
  23. Shouldn't get any gunk really, check fuel filter.
  24. Hi, nice Soarer Witam i pozdrawiam, trafiłeś w dobre miejsce, teraz tylko pozostaje wykupić membership żeby mieć dostęp do wieeelkiej biblioteki technicznej
