what does it mean when the light is flashing on the active spoiler

ok we have a little spare time at work and have arranged an egg race, but not the normal egg and spoon sort. we are to propel an egg down a track of 30 meters and the egg must be intact when reaching the finish line. rules are: must run on the ground once crosses the start line no external guidance is allowed. must cross over the "ramp of death" which is a see saw like device. no major commercial parts are permitted so lets help me and the team win! get your ideas in here _________________
