  1. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=217156 I belive this was done at the recent wheels in motion meet. I dont know who you have to thank for it.
  2. Is it the Volf sf winnigs your after? Same sort of style as your old sienas. Lovley wheels and I'd love a set but they dont come up for sell often
  3. How much are you looking at spending? Because If i were you, I would be looking at getting a mint facelift Na 6 speed and then convert that to tt.
  4. as a quick fix you could try cleaning the old contacts. It worked for me when i needed the car before i could get the parts.
  5. I thought it was only the v160 that had the larger type diff, and the v161 shared the same diff as the auto. Can any one confirm?
  6. My fault for voting, then reading through the post.
  7. I compared my UK auto driveshafts to pre-facelift 6 speed driveshafts When changing them and could'nt see any differences.
  8. When you say stock downpipe, i take it you mean the first cat. The cats have a built in flexible section. It may be that the weight of the cat is causing it to drop giving a gap at the bottom.
  9. I took mine down to the middle of the E once before. But I always fill up as soon as i can when the light comes on.

    Broken diff

Does your supe get driven hard?
  11. Anything can drift in this weather:eyebrows: http://www.kladblog.com/embed_flv.asp?id=media.kladblog.com/media/200912/driften.flv Although he would have his diff lock on, which helps. Does your estima have an lsd? Have fun, go careful.
  12. Impressive, not something I would want to try.
  13. I'm confused, so if you drive a 800bhp supra you will twist the body and the car will die?

    Brake pipes

I changed the lines while my subframe was off the car, and it was still an anoying job. Unless you can pick up the lines as soon as they come out of the machine, theres no chance of getting a new brake line that hasnt had a scratch put in the cover or been slightly bent. I got lucky with my pipe unions, although i did use a bit of heat on the rears. I would deffinatly make my own if i did it again.
  15. I reckon the lorry has lost traction on the incline to the crossing. The subaru is just providing that little bit for the truck to pull away. I would be impressed if he towed the lorry on snow/ice on his own.
  16. Someone buy these please. I'm supposed to be saving money.
  17. I have it on but im not really watching it. Dont know why, but usually i enjoy watching it.
  18. The graph has got to be made up. How can a car be faster in gear without changing the gearing, revlimit or wheel size?
  19. Its to do with being able to land on un-prepared runways out in the field. A jet engine sucking in dust and rocks etc wont be good for reliability. I'm no designer though, i just build planes. Did some work on the wings in filton for 9 weeks. I worked on MSN003.
  20. Provisonally sold As per the title really. I've swapped mine for a blue set. There in good condition, just a bit dirty. Gave the top hose a quick clean and it came up good. The bottom hose is more grubby and will need a good scrub. I'll through in my vacuum hoses I took off, otherwise there going in the bin. £20 will see these delivered to your door.
  21. I didnt fit the dowls though the drilled holes and my clutch works fine. It did confuse me because it dose seem that they go though the hole, but then it would lift the slave cylinder away from the bulkhead.
  22. Fresh toyota coolant in mine. As i've binned the container now, is it definatly no maintance coolant?
  23. When my engine died and i was towed home about 10 miles with no assisted steering, I didnt find it too bad. I understand where your coming from, I find the steering too light above 50. I think you would regret binning the power steering althgether though unless your supra is a weekend/track car.
  24. For whatever reason I didnt have a runabout so had to use the supra as a daily driver. During this time my starter motor started playing up, it would just click and not engage. But with a bit of patience it would go after tring it every few minutes. Anyway, this method of starting the car didnt last very long, until one morning when the car just would not start. So i phone in work, "sorry guys cant make it", and off to toyota i go. Salesman, "cant get you the parts till next week". Right i need a car so i'm going to have to fix the supra. I stripped the starter down, cleaned the contacts and great the car started. A couple of days later, i finish work, jump in the car, one hand on the gear stick and the key in the other hand. Went to start the car and click. Because of what happened before, straight away i'm thinking starter. After 25mins of just trying the key every few minutes i give up. I thought I'll have to go back into work and get help. As i'm getting out the car i thought i'll just check the cars in park. :banghead:
