  1. Can only see red x's. Tried putting the links into my browser and it was taking ages to load. Edit: I can see them now.
  2. I was on the track at the time and must of drove round just after your spin. It must of been some spin, because i thought you lost it on the corner before hanger straight.
  3. Someone left there space saver in the pit. I'm sure it came out of the silver supra, who I believe is a south west member. I chucked it in my boot for now.
  4. but his new set were pumped up to the correct pressure and he came in after a few laps to check them. And they were starting to wear. Very aggressive driver though.
  5. I had a good day out, it was good to give the supra a proper shake down. What I want to know if adnanshah247 got home on his warn tyres?
  6. Nearest shell garage is at the services on m4 j36. For all the vpower lovers.
  7. Looks like it because i didnt recive an info pack either. Is it the same info pack thats at the bottom of post two?
  8. Its not illegal to remove the cats from your exhaust system. However the car must still be able to pass an emissions test, which most of our cars would fail. The chances of having a road side emissions test done on your car, are very slim. I belive VOSA can do this, and i dont know if they need a reason to or not. So as far as i'm concerned, the pros far out way the cons.
  9. Picture of my belt that had done 500miles. I didnt properly check the belt before installing and thought it was damaged, so i took it off. I got another one, and that was the same.
  10. I had the same problem. Both oem belts I bought had marks in the side. So i fitted it. Also its worth knowing that the tt engines are non-interferance engines. Even if the belt snaps the engine will be fine. Although if you have any doughts over the age of the belt it will be worth changing.
  11. Is that the correct paypal address still?
  12. Added a good 60 to 70 miles on my range, bassed on mixed driving on my tt.(I have the larger fuel tank). Was seeing 220 to 250 miles. Now I want at least 300 miles to a tank. Managed 410 miles in one tank when I drove to supra pod. That was 80% mway and a roads. Only down side was having 2 sensors to change, at £160 each.
  13. Got to feel sorry for the van driver. I dont know how it works being a cyclist (I guess it goes to court), but if that cyclist wants to claim for compansation. It will be the van drivers fault for not giving way, even though you told him to go.
  14. V-power mainly, because I have two shell garages closest to me. One of which is less than 1/4mile. I might on occasion fill up with tesco super unleaded(97 octane).
  15. Out of interest is there a number of cars we have to reach for this event to be paid for. Or must all 40 places be filled.
  16. you could send out pm's to previous participants.
  17. I thought your gearbox lasted quite well considering your bpu and use the car for drifting, compared to some of the stories read on hear.
  18. No. I got a polished inlet manifold and throttle body, from Paul at whifbitz who sent out a jspec. I can't remember the differences but I did start adapting it and gave up as it was easier to just get mine polished. Converting the jspec to UK spec, the throttle cable bracket has to be modified as the bolt holes don't line up. I think there are less vacuum line connections, there's a hole to be blocked off and one to be drilled and tapped I think. One of the manifolds had a large thredded hole. And then there's the egr valve on the back of the manifold. I think it was the support bar I went to fit and found that the bolt sizes were different. The throttle body should fit, the difference being that the UK has some soft of damper fitted to the throttle pulley with a vacuum line attached to the underside of the throttle body. Although thinking about it, it could be a auto/manual difference not a UK/jspec difference.
  19. I know someone from work who has a 205 gti on throttle bodies and as already said. The engine response and sound is awesome.
  20. This is the diff in question. From what I've read on this forum, there are no differences of the LSD between the european and j spec diffs. However I belive the casings are different. Now going by the pics in this thread, its the larger casing. Diff thread link Also have a read through all of this thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=198007&highlight=diff We both need a second opinion on this from someone that knows for sure. I was only aware that UK autos had larger diff casing after removing it and having it sat next to my 6 speed diff.
  21. Is there a part number on the box that someone could put into the parts database, to see what it comes up with.
  22. I'm not to sure. I can understand the weight of the car shifting to the front under braking causing a suspension knock. Bit if I lightly tap the brakes enough to engage them but not affect the car it still knocks. Problem is though. I've had all the suspension arms off the car so will still have to check everything. But I'm 90% sure its the brakes knocking.
  23. I just had my gearbox mount changed, only because its advised to after the gearbox leaks oil onto it. But its made a noticeable difference to the car. It didn't feel like the gearbox was attached to the car before compared to now.
  24. Corroded brake lines. Seems to be catching people out at MOT times now.
