  1. Do they allow you to sign on if you turn up late? There maybe a small chance that i can pick up my supra saturday morning from the garage and drive up. but wont be here till 11am earliest.
  2. Just to add to that the manual says, Using a venier caliper, measure the thread outside diameter of the bolt Standard outside diameter: 10.8 - 11.0mm (0.425 - 0.433 in.) Minimum outside diameter: 10.7mm (0.421 in.) If diameter is less than minimum, replace the bolt.
  3. Hang on, I thought supras weren't allowed to break down. Its a common problem and I had it happen to me. Most likley the contacts are worn out on the starter. Toyota sell a referb kit for about £15 and there is a guide on here somewhere.
  4. Keep this thread updated, as my tank cover has a big dent in it. And being a UK car, its not pretty to look at.
  5. Found a set of work xd9's for sale. Fronts, 18 x 9 et30 225/40/18 diamondback tyres rears, 18 x 10 et38 245/40/18 continental tyres The back wheels should fit nicely, maybe having to roll the lip. The fronts I'm not sure about though. Any one run a similar offset on their front?
  6. I looked into repairing my steering rack, and was advised against it. The best option is to source a good second hand rack.
  7. In the service manual, for refilling the diff it says; NOTICE: For differentials with oil cooler system, check the oil level again after operating the pump to send oil to the cooler. Then in the diff oil cooler system description it also says; When the differential oil is being replenished, connecting terminals OP2 and E1 of the check connector when ignition switch ON causes the oil cooler pump to operate for 90 -/+10 seconds so that oil also flows to the oil cooler.
  8. Mclaren seem to have found some pace on the yas marina circuit. I can't see Lewis wining the championship but i do hope he gives Sebastian a hard time. And Button p4. Feel sorry for Webber, I think he deserves to win. Vettel and Alonso are very good drivers, but their attitude sucks.
  9. Do you mean the photos in the multimedia section?

this thread has cheered me up.
  11. So does vettel have a spare engine, or will he get a penalty?
  12. That would not suprise me.
  13. It's been lovingly cared for by one considerate owner, however the others really didn't give a monkeys! I might try that line myself.
  14. The steering rack bolts to an aluminium front subframe. ???????????
  15. Paul sells new lower arms if you want a price. prefacelift Or if your unlucky facelift I've bought 2nd hand arms off keron before with no issue on the parts.
  16. So are the arms and hubs included in the sale?
  17. For the early v160 6 speed, dont worry about my sig. (I know the engine mounts changed on later supras, not sure about the gearbox mount. But i did make sure the parts guy looked up the v160). INSULATOR, ENGINE MOUNTING, REAR NO.1 T12371-46110. About £73 + VAT.
  18. I have recently had mine changed. I will post it up later tonight when I finish work, if no one else has done it.
  19. I ran cw fast road pads with groves disks on UK brakes on the llandow track day at bpu power, and they held up well.
  20. I have the eagle f1 asymmetric's on the front and the old gsd3 f1's on the rear. Given a choice I would not have had them fitted to my car. But i had asked for f1's to be fitted to my front wheels and thats what they had fitted when i picked my wheels up, albiet the new design. However I was rather pleased with how well they coped on the track. They have worn really well compared to the budget tyres I completly destroyed on the 2008 track day.
  21. Paul sells the genuine gasket kit also, http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-engine-components-toyota-parts-toyota-p-1835.html
  22. Well done. I done my CBT and passed my theory test last week. So now I'm looking at doing my training for MOD1. Acccording to my instructor there is a new part to MOD2 which started this week, where the examiner will ask you to ride too, for example the A1 or a tourist attraction. And then you have to follow the road signs and plan your own route. But this should be easy, as a car driver you will have experience.
  23. Here's what my useless camera skills have managed to capture at the track side. I literally just gone through all the videos that me and the misses took, and picked out the better ones. I only took a video camera to mess about with, so if your not on the video dont feel bad. lGVTVQdhL4I
