Cruise ECU

Where is that located? Does anyone have a wiring diagram of it?
2. Thats what I'm looking for :-) Thanks. I'l put that on my list
3. ok, thanks. Here in Denmark we have a nice handfull of specialized dealers selling classic cars. I was hoping that UK was filled up with the same thing as you guys have much more of a culture around these.
4. I'm would gladly pay you 150£ for it but I'm in Denmark. So, can you find a cheap way to get it here? I'm also comming to the UK and driving around the south and wales, so could pop by if you are anywhere around that. BUT, I'm guessing it will NEVER fit a boot? (driving a new bmw 5-series there). Do you have any dimensions of it?
5. How did you check for play? I thought it was more or less impossible to see unless it was *really* bad?
6. I'm planning a trip through the south and Wales in September and might want to bring a classic UK or US car back home to Denmark with me (or rather my dad). I'm thinking 70'es (+/- 10 years or so). One of my favorites is a '78 Cadillac Eldorado but the smaller UK cars also apply for interest. Can you reccomend me any good, large preferably, dealerships in the area? Thanks Stefan

lexus LFA :S

I don't think it looks more like a supra than any other rear wheel, front engined car. Pricing is crazy but guarantees exclusivity. Also, you know you got own the best the japaneese car industry can and will produce for a long, long time... And that engine/exhaust note... thats almost worth the price. You only get that in a formula car, and hey, then the LFA is suddenly very cheap
8. 1st pic is SLS i think 2nd pic... no idea... look mad though. The Beemer reminds me of this one, I spotted the last time I was down there:
9. Just read in the 1993 Supra Features brochure by toyota that the torsen LSD in our cars should be run with normal oil and not LSD oil. 1993 Supra Features Brochure - page 160 or here: Is that still applicable by todays oils? I don't remember what specific oil I got in my diff, but I think it was som Castrol LSD oil. Is this a bad thing then?
10. I have the V160 and also get a "clunk" once in a while when slotting into 1st. No forward motion though. Running Chris's uprated stock clutch. I just figured that it was one of the funky quirks with the V160. Interesting that the W58 box also has noises.

Hid kit ?

Thats and olde episode Here in Denmark they have been illigal for many years due to the brightness of the beam and thereby the blinding effect if the hedlight isn't fixed properly or grime/dust on the light spread the beam. Therefore you are only allowed to use HIDs if you have self levelling lights with washers.

mkiv brake fluid

Go for temperature more than DOT type (except the DOT5 as chris says). I bought some DOT4 at some point, which ended up in immidiate brake fade after 3 times on the brake on a track. I have good experience with a dry boiling point of 270c +
13. Thanks Chris. So cars with a setup like mine (your fast road car) will definately feel a difference upgrading to TRD? I'm guessing less roll and tighter turn in?
14. Whats the difference between OEM and TRD? Are the latter thicker, providing less roll or?
15. There really is no real point in the drilled discs other than show (unless you specify your brakes for a certain use). I would rather go with some slottet discs as these wont crack when heated up. But still, good quality is important. Also, bear in mind a lot of high performace brake systems and production cars come with drilled/slottet fronts but not on the back. If your pad doesn't come in contact with the entire surface of the disc, something is up. I would take out the pads to have a look at them. While doing that, I would also take off the discs to both measure that width is within specifications and also place them on a completly flat surface to see if they have warped in any way. Sounds like you have some rears in bad condition (which in extreme situations can mess with your brake bias, possibliy resulting in a spin while braking)
16. Shipment to UK is 40£ The speedo could also be shipped without the cluster which would be much be much cheaper. Somewhere between 5-10£. I would have to find something really protective to ship it in though. Price the same but cheaper overall due to P&P.
17. Go to Mr T and get the "horizontal bar". It't only like 30£ and you get it painted in your car colour. I think it makes quite a difference and you stay with the OEM look, which we all know is the best http://idisk.me.com/stefanbovien/Public/k_lder2.jpg
18. There is a lot of it on e-bay. I wouldn't do it though. Your stock discs will do all that you need unless your crazy track your car. Also, they won't warp or split as drilled and other cheap discs tend to. Lots of info on different big brake kits here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?225007-Big-Brake-Kits-Real-Numbers
19. If you go to Settings, don't you have an option called Internet Sharing? I do and are on 4.3.2. I don't pay anything extra. I think my subscription comes with 10GB data pr month.. Obcene amount as I've only used 1,6gb since I got the phone (which was when i came out aprox) I don't get the point with using a cydia app, as that still uses your carrier data signal and contract..
20. The dial bulbs are available for cheap from toyota by the way..
21. If you upgrade the iPhone 4 to IOS 4.3.2 or the latest 4.3.3, they you have the hotspot functionality native in IOS and it works great...
