  1. Really? Whats the difference between the stock filter and the TRD? -and the TRD and the KN (since the KN is supposed to leak so much crap)
  2. What have you noticed by using a drop-in filter like KN or other third party filters? Louder turbo sucktion sound, more oomph from the BOV or not change? anything else? better mileage or?

    Puncture!

Might it be that you picked up a nail or so some time ago and the tyre just slowly deflated it selv after the nail has fallen out? You wouldn't be able to see any damage and probably wont see the tiry leaking very quickly.
  4. Just add a couple of washers between the uppper boot rubber and the hatch itself. That should do the trick, and you wont have to remove the "Lock Tight" infected buttom ones...
  5. Wow, thats amazing! and 4,36 sec! I'm J-spec, full decat, hitting fuel cut, but soon to FCD that. I havent been doing any measurements but I wouldn't have thought that it would be possible getting very much below the 5 sec mark to 62mph. Is that on street rubber? It must have taken some tries? How many revs do you launch from?
  6. What kind of a fuel pump is need after going BPU on the J-spec supra? I'v read here about a Walbro pump or so, but I'm in Denmark and I'm guessing that is a British shop, or? Sooo.. If I'm going for a new fuel pump, what should I order? What specs should it have and can anyone recommend a brand? Thanks! PS. What do I risk by running the standard pump?
  7. Shytot, Did you get that boost controller in there? If so, how's it working for you? Don't you think the ring gives you slower boost build times? Did you ever try running without the ring? I'm about to fit a FCD and have a double decat, so I'm interested in the possibilities if my boost go through the roof after the fix. My mechanic really dislikes the restrictor rings for some reason. Tells I might as well smear tar on my airfilter or so...
  8. I just experienced the issue though to a lesser extend. I had mine misfireing badly at high revs after having toyota put in standard Platinum plugs (thats what they called them). Apparently these have somthing called 1,0 "distance", and after having that physically nocked down to 0,5 the high rev misfire stopped. Now I have the problem you describe (but again, to a lesser extend) but didnt have that before. Soooo therefore I'm quite sure mine is down to the plugs, and maybe the same for you? Btw mines BPU which is why the standard OEM plugs didnt work at high revs (i'm guessing) You think this issue hurts anything? Do you notise anything at all when you are doing anything else than idleing?
  9. come on, someone gotta know this
  10. Seen that one, thanks. I really need a pic to understand this. I have tried looking at the TSRM and electrical diagrams, but that didn't help much. Does anyone have a pic of these wires?
  11. No, not what I have been able to find....
  12. Hey Does anyone know a fix for the standard 70 mph limiter for cruise control? I know there is a 112 mph limiter for the car en general and that is simply removed with a SLD, but how about the cruise in the Jap Spec Sup?
