  1. What is the status on the version that should cover the spoiler holes?
  2. Andy, i responded to your other post on suspension. Have you thought about testdriving a 100% stock RX-7? Sounds like it might me something you would feel for.. Absolutly perfect handling, low weight and so on.
  3. I just bought all suspension arms from Mr. T and that came to a total bill of just over 2.000£. I'm in Denmark, so things are a bit more expesive here. I would guess you could get them for 2k. I havent bought the subframe bushes or engine mounts though. The consensus on bushes is that you shouldn't go poly bush, if you want to keep the OEM feel and driveability for the car, but you sound like you are on the same page on that one from the start. I can only recommend Chris' suspension. I've had both the OEM Bilstein J-spec, some aftermarked that was NOT working out for all the reasons you mentioned and now CWs fast road setup. That feels OEM quality and you can work with him on how much of a drop, if any, in ride height you want. You could look into TRD sway and strut bars to sharpen the handling with OEM componets. I'm picking up a set of those as well next week, so come spring the car should hopefully be as handling optimized as at all possible with all OEM (I count CWs stuff as oem ) parts as possible. That sounds like a path you might want to look at.
  4. Selling my 100% stock and rustfree MKII :-( Coolest cruiser ever
  5. Get them from Toyota. They are cheap. Like 15£ for the "Supra" one or so.
  6. I've had the same goal over the years. My result have been so far from a 100% stock j-spec TT 93: Tried 3 suspension setups. A full CW suspension on 18" definately is the best I've tried. It's firm but stil road usable. A bit soft when pushing hard on track, but I'm guessing as close as you get to a proper mix of the two. I'm changing all suspension arms with OEM new stuff, and adding TRD anti-roll bars as well as TRD strut tower bars. In addition, TRD brake disks and full EU brakes gave A LOT in regards to track usability but also a firmer pedal on the road. Last but not least a set of really nice bucket seats gave a lot more than I expected. Of cause it keeps you better planted in the seat but that lead to a much more "safe" feeling when pushing the car on track through corners. I actually think that mod was the one that gave to most in relation to average speed on the track (for me at least) as well as they look just sooo nice I will have my new suspension arms mounted this winter and wil thoroughly test them @ the Ring next spring. But I'm also expecting quite a difference on normal road driving.
  7. Now THAT is interesting... I'll be looking into that...
  8. Yep, thats the one I mean. When mine leaked, I couldn't see anything wrong with the seal either. Couldn't even tell the difference between the new I bought and the old one. But it stopped it from leaking. And before that I tried various o-rings, but only the Toyota one fixed the leak.
  9. You need to secure it better. If you hit something or the seat for some reason pops down, you are going to have a real problem. Also, it is not a 100% desireable place as it is fairly high mounted. A better place would be in the footwell behind the passenger seat. As low as possible and in between the axels is the best solution from a dynamics perspective.
  10. Are you sure its the unit itself? The o-ring on the return stud is usually the culprit. It can easily trickle down from there. If there is any chance of that being it, change it and see. It is a cheap fix. But make sure to get the right ring from toyota.
  11. How much for the one covering the holes, shipped to Denmark? Do you have any close up pics of it? For example different angles close up, so fitment and shape can be seen?
  12. Any idea on when you will have the spoiler that covers the holes available?
  13. Could you ship the cat to Denmark for a reasonable price? If so, I'll take it. Does it come with welded flanges for an easy fit or?
  14. I prefer this: http://www.trd21.dk
  15. Thats Denmark for you.... I'm going for what the other thread mention
  16. Great! Thanks a bunch, I missed that...
