    i had this when i first viewed my car, i asked the dealer to change the starter and hey presto, no more issues now for past 18 months Try it if nothing else works, second hand starters on e-bay all time £40 ish rick

    Is there anything i would need to do i.e. disconnect battery, as im going away for 2 weeks? cheers

    Nice one Ady, did this myself a few months ago with the exception that i wire brushed all old stuff off (on a drill adaptor) Well done mate for doing the piece
