The prolem is on the speed sensor/ECU circuit, you have to re-arranbe your wireing slightly behing ODO to fix - (takes 5 mins) its very simple If you need to delimit or convert your speedo, this unit is the mutts nutts It can also correct the code 42 when you wire it in

I like the look of these and might aquire one (obviously wont need the air bag bit) any techs know??

Might be an odd question, but will this fit a non airbag mkiv that has the 3 spoke type?? (obviously without the airbag)

Have you tried using a block on the end when lifting (wood/steel) - may help, worth a try before selling

My original delimeter was situated behing the dash as yours is - swapped to TT cluster then speedo not giving correct speed - removed delimeter and speedo cock on!! (without a delimeter on a j-spec clock) now my check light comes on at @60mph but think i have solution from colin and will redo that tonight. Thanks for yout time Andy, sorry i did not call derek
