Why don't you just get them rebuild? Not sure if they are still there but in Wednesbury wolverhampton there was a company been there since th 80s they will rebuild any drive shaft last time while I waited 20 minutes. £50 it was a few years back mind. I'll give my old man a call tommorow to check company name.

Do not ever lpg, it will cause valve regression and blow the headgasket be there got 2 t shirts. You will get no more than 23 mpg but the cost is just over half so returning 40 ish mpg Insurance will got up and you will need annual service for valid insurnace and no trips on the euro tunnel. Lpd band Keep supra and buy an electric for work. Just brought an ampera had it 4 months and haven't brought and petrol yet. My fuel bill for a diesel doing 50mpg at£150 a month to £22 on electricity with no tax. Saving paid for the car. More money to spend on the weekend car. Just don't tell the the wife. Just buy a second car and keep the miles down.

Anyone got any idea why my windows are misting up, even if the car is just sitting there on the drive? Could it be the window seals and if so how do you now which one you? No leaks can be found all seams dry. Wipe clear, car heats up and clears the rest. Turn off and within 30 mins it bloody back. No loss of water so can't see its the matrix. Only happens when its cold so thinking it's window seals and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just a thought but what alarm do you have fitted as some will just cut power to the fuel pump and could be just a failed solenoid.
