Hi All, Sorry haven't posted for a long time....that's another story! Just noticed that yellow Aerotop that was a Japanese show car with a Ferrari look and many monitors is up for sale again.... I'm sure everyone know which one I'm on about and has been up for sale at various prices with dealers and private owner ranging from 12K to 20K for the past 3/4 years and is now back on PH and eBay for just under 12K. I know it is not to everyone's taste but cant understand why it keeps coming up for sale and why some dealers think it is worth so much? It has undergone a respray a while back and those big chrome rims are now black but other than that it's exactly as it was back in 2009/2010 Perhaps it should be in a museum say Gaydon or similar? Anyway just like to finish with wishing all a terrific 2014

Those ClearCorners have been around now for over 5 years but recently they gave the option of indicators or DRL where the fog lamps were together with other lights and their prices have slowly risen over the years. I think you will find that it is MG Midgets and Bs and Cs that have a monocoque shell and your dads Spitfire (along with the Herald,Vitesse,GT6 and the TR 2-6 series) definitely has a chassis which the engine and suspension and body attach to and can clearly be seen in some of the first photos you showed painted red before the body was refitted. IIAC only the 1300/1500/Dolomite and the 2000/2500 saloons, the TR7 and the Stag are monocoques:eyebrows: Lovely car BTW Triumphs always look good in red and as Chris said once the rear suspension settles will look even better:D

No strictly Dunk but the mapper and the car sales are definitely correct

1.As to differences,most people use Bride subframes when fitting Recaros but AFAIK the fittings are the same 2.Dont think the fittings from your existing seats will fit, but if you get the OE Recaros with frames and mounts then yes 3.I dont think Recaros have any electrics and adjustments are all manual.

That's Quicksilver - one of my favourites along with Royal Sapphire Pearl, Gunmetal and Speed Red at the top (actually I like all the different hues on Supras but silver,black and green are at the bottom for me)

The problem with aftermarket body-kits is with the exception of TS,TRD or Ridox many others have a mismatch for me such as the DoLuck front bumper is great but I don't particularly like the side skirts and hate the rear spats. With Trial kit the rear bumper, again great but the front bumper looks to 'heavy' and the skirts rather so-so however I think this kit looks well coordinated and flows well but don't know who makes it. Anyone recognise it?

For those with pre facelift cars (many I assume) who hate the orange front indicators and wish for clears(or tinted) replacements but don't want to do like everyone else and fit Facelift ones and change the wiring? Well help is at hand from the US of A as these are now available and cheapish too, just go to eBay.com and search parts for Supra then lighting and there they are. (the company is Neon something or other and they sell lots of light units for many makes - but the link to these is on my other computer which has a problem )

Hi Jurgen I found these pictures in a post of yours back in February 2011 but cant find any of it finished and its bugging me as I want to see some as it looks fantastic. Do you have some/any pictures of the finished article and who its proud owner is? I thought it was SupraStar3000 but his looks different and just the same colour. Cheers Tee
