  1. Hi all, Does anyone have a partial or complete set of new dash panels? I have an Auto TT if that helps. Is there a supplier on the forum I can buy from, and are they still available from Toyota direct? Jez
  2. To back up MySQL you usually have the option of backing up the table structures, the data itself, or both. You can have the structure dumped into a text file and run it as a form of INSERT query when you need to. I wanted to add it's probably not a good idea just copying the data folder, you will have the data, but you will probably lose the table structures and you would end up having to recreate these manually (!) if you don't already have a backup.
  3. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why FireFox is smaller and faster - there's less rubbish that loads with it and they've given you the option to install the plugins that you want. There can't be too many though surely - RealPlayer, Shockwave, Flash, Windows Media Player are the main ones I think.
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking of - can I use some sort of file/angle grinder or something to file down the sides of the socket? Anyone done this before? CJ is still on the case for me , but I am desperate to get my Supra back on the road next week!
  5. I'm just back from Halfords, and bought myself a 19mm socket for the princely sum of £5.49 , it looked like a fairly thin-walled socket but simply does not fit. As far as I can see, 19mm is the right size as the socket goes on the nut about 5mm and then stops. It just seems to me that some sort of tapered socket must have been used to put them on in the first place.
  6. I took the Supra to a Hi-Q garage - are they classed as a 'fully-equipped garage' though? They didn't have anything suitable for removing those nuts, so I am going under the assumption that something more specific would be needed.
  7. As requested, here are some pictures that should help. http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122006.jpg http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122007.jpg http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122008.jpg http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122009.jpg http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122010.jpg http://81.149.22.169/misc/16122011.jpg As you can see, the nuts themselves are not tapered, it's the 'groove' that the nuts are sitting in. CJ is on the case for me, but if anybody else can help I would really appreciate it. Jez
  8. Wheels look similar to this: http://www.tsall.com/upload/board/aaP1010901.JPG They are not an allen-key fitment as such, they look more like regular stud bolts as you'd find on most cars, but they are tapered, hence the garage I took the car to today had no way of removing the wheels. Is there anybody who specifically owns the same make of wheels?
  9. Hi all, I am currently rolling on a set of 3-spoke Volk Advans wheels, and after the car has been making horrendous sounding noises from the drivers' side of the car, I need to know how to remove the wheel nuts from these alloy wheels. From what I can see, the studs used are tapered, and I have not received the socket from the previous owner. The garage could not remove the wheels either. Can anyone please please tell me what socket and size I need to remove these wheels? Jez
  10. Haha, got them all in! Thanks for the advice - there was indeed a little knob or plunger of some kind in the middle of the rear seats, pressed that and hey-presto the whole rear seat went down. Thanks again
  11. When I say about fitting PC's in the back of the car, to be specific I will need space for eight of the Shuttle PCs, the little box-sized computers. No monitors thank goodness
  12. Thing is, looking inside the boot yesterday it seems that some insane amount of space is taken up by the spare wheel and tools, whilst I actually get about 10" high of useful space. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm only new
  13. Thankyou! I only picked the TT up yesterday, drove back in the dark, drove to work in the dark, you get the idea. I can see myself standing outside tonight in the cold with a bunch of knobs
  14. Hi all, Just a couple of quick questions about my new TT (I will post pics in due course): I urgently need space for a few computers to fit in the back of my car. My questions are do the back seats fold down and if so, how, and how on earth do you move the front seats forward? There seems to be a lever of some kind on both driver and passenger seats but I'm buggered if I know where I should be pulling/pushing it Thanks in advance! Jez
  15. To narrow it down even further, I'm now looking specifically for a 52mm blue boost gauge that will fit where the clock goes . Can anybody help? Ideally £100 or less if possible, but I'm open to suggestions.
  16. Thanks flukey-lukey, I had seen that particular gauge on eBay earlier this afternoon, and it looks really good Thanks to everyone who posted pics for me!
  17. Do you have a model number for the apexi, flukey-lukey?
  18. @Steviekid, is yours one of the Apexi EL II gauges? I'm looking on the Apexi site, but can't see anywhere that says they light up blue.
  19. Would anyone mind posting a pic if they've got one? Thanks for all the quick replies!
  20. Hi all, I'm looking for a boost gauge that would fit in with a blue backlit dash, either analog or digital is fine. Can anyone point any recommendations my way? I'm looking at spending £200 and under Jez
  21. I can see I'm going to run out of posts before I have to pay up to become a proper member! Right, I am looking at spending absolutely no more than 10k, preferably between 8k and 9k if at all possible. I am looking specifically for a TT, only because I know that although an N/A will be more than enough, if I'm spending that amount of money I want to go the whole hog and do it properly Specifically, I would be happy with a standard TT, although I have to admit I am in love with the Veilside kit. Insurance-wise; I have made a few enquiries and my premium should be reasonably affordable since I am 24 and have 5 years no-claims.
  22. A proper drive with a girlie? How can I refuse? I'm just interested in getting as much pre-purchase experience of Supras as I can before I splash the cash myself!
