Not sure about how to check whether the Rad Cap has gone or not, but I think you should also be getting smoke from the exhaust if your BHG was leaking!

I have been told that this is normally due to one of two reasons, a problem with the Rad, normally a duff Rad Cap, or something a little more serious, a knackered head gasket or similar!

I to, use the same setup as Martin, but the car was run like this when I bought it, so I can't comment on any performance increase.

I had a job tightening the nut for the bracket to! anyway, Don't quote me on this, but this is how I understand it.......... The bolt on the back of the BOV adjusts the boost pressure slightly!?!? Anyone else who can give a better explanation will also be helping me! (NOTE: I never adjusted mine to find out!)

mkiv.com have pics on the installation. I did mine and it is very straight forward, although I did have to bend the mounting bracket slightly to fit it in! I can post the pics if you want!

Guys, I want to change the bottom hose on my radiator, what is the easiest way for me to get to it? I am assuming I have two options, one would be to remove the undertray the other would be to remove the fan? Any help/advice appreciated.

The quality is amazing Jules, not sure what I was expecting, but its definately a lot better than I thought it would be! Can I assume that the device you use, is a colour bullet cam? which I am again assuming you would need to plug into a normal video camera?

Jules, The cam you speak of, is it a small thing you can mount outside the vehicle easily? If so I would be very interested in seeing some footage and hearing your comments on its performance. Cheers Lee

Guys, I have a new radiator top hose I need to fit, as my old one has begun to perish at one end. The only trouble is, I cannot find the bleed tap. I don't need to drain the system fully, although it would be nice, to freshen it up. Can someone tell me where I need to look or at least the best way to drain it. Cheers Lee

Is there any way for me to reproduce the pressure as if I was driving the car? I have noticed that when the car is out of gear and I rev it, the turbos do not seem to spin up in the same way as when I am in gear! Is that clear as mud enough?

My BOV is about 4 weeks old! Its an HKS SSQV! I did however notice a few spots of oil residue around the exit of the BOV, not sure what this means either! Thanks for your help Alex, more advice/help appreciated! (from anyone!)

So that would explain the louder whooshing noise? If it is this, is it something I need to get fixed at a garage NOW or will it be ok until I can get to a garage? (if you know what I mean!)

Guys, On the way home I noticed that all of a sudden I was only hitting about 0.8bar, I know that this morning It was around 1.1bar! I naturally checked the boost controller and it hadn't been changed! I am also hearing a loud 'whooosh' type noise as I ease off the throttle at high revs! NOTE: Its a different noise than that of my bov! and its only appeared today! I have checked pipes etc and all seems to be ok, when I blip the throttle cable I notice that the intake pipe which goes off into the drivers side wing 'clenches' not sure if this is normal! Please help, as I am a little worried about my baby!

Guys, I want to remove the front bumper on my j-spec and wondered if it is straight forward and whether any of you guru's could let me know the best way to do it. The only thing I am slightly worried about is the auto-spoiler! Any help would be appreciated. cheers Lee
