dosent sound good,check for obvious, belts/pulleys running aligned etc, crank pulley also, cam belt as youve mentioned,maybe the cam belt tensioner? although you said it sounds like its coming from the top its worth stripping the covers off to check else you could be looking at more dosh,maybe a vid clip or something may help but i wouldnt drive it till youve had a good chance to look.

the ecu for this is behind the dash,cream looking with orange connectors, there is also the electric antenna relay on there too, should be on the metal cage that the sterio fits into. maybe they are missing too or disconected?

The car in question was sold by a company in arizona on ebay,i was watching it myself and it went for 63,000 usd, i thought it was a scam at first though but aparently not,heres some of the pics i have......lovely car i have it on my touchscreen background. normally some good sockets and a large bar are suffice, with wheel on and handbrake up you shouldnt be able to spin the wheels, i sometimes use an extra bar to extend the leverage even more, failing that you need an impact driver run off a compressor or a battery one like the snap-on ones which are quite good, i reakon youll still need the wheel on the ground though. p.s dig the Brake disk covers.....

fibreglass matting or p40 is not the best thing to repair the skirts,with them being polyurathaine you will struggle to get a good bond,ive got some really good glue for plastics here which is perfect,but i dont think i have enough for your needs, id go that route other than getting it fibreglassed again. andy p.s any glue will not work

i dont think you would, why have decat and run at nr stock boost anyhow? imo i reakon it would be about 40-45mm if decatted fully.....try it without one.

my old stock ones i could push down with my hands,toyota billies on the other hand are much stiffer and you cant push them down.
