  1. You could just be unlucky. There's a petrol station here in Edinburgh that was identified as the source for a lot of credit card fraud. Think an employee was just skimming/copying details from cards, then using them later....
  2. You might also want to check this out: http://comcal.wboc.com/img/resvsdist.jpg Just that if you're buying a 32" tv, there's no great need to go for the highest res, as unless you'll be sitting closer than about 6feet you can't see any discernable difference between 720p and 1080p. Maybe thats just a good excuse to get a massive TV though, cos you can sit further from them and still feel the benefit of the higher resolution...
  3. If you're in Edinburgh it might not hurt to get in touch with Lochrin Autos. They've never had problems sorting parts for my cars in the past, and a couple of them seem quite into their jap cars, too.
  4. Haha, yeah, didn't notice that! Didn't hit it though, Not sure if they're intended to be coupled with overfenders, as they're quite thick... maybe in the future.
  5. Just got some Do Luck spats fitted. When I saw them for sale on here there didn't seem to be anyone with photos of them fitted, so figured I'd stick these up. Try to ignore the really flat tyre on the 2nd pic, and the fact my car needs a damned good wash.
  6. I've got one lying either in my glovebox or on my back seat, if you want it just give me a shout and I can send it if you like.
  7. Yeah, she wanted to go shopping, and a friend of mine just moved to Glasgow, so killed two birds with one stone. Getting the spats sorted over the next couple of weeks...
  8. That said, if it was about 1pm, it could also have been me, as that's when we arrived... I was stopped at that crossroads for what seemed like an eternity...
  9. If it was just after 5pm, the Red one on Byres Road might have been me... missing spats and black gunk on the rear bumper where they used to be stuck on? Was through from Edinburgh for a day out.
  10. Ok, I'm gonna seem like a 'tard, but I have these alloys. They were on my Supra when i bought it (few months ago now). the car came with no tools, so I'm not sure how to get the centre caps off (Haven't tried, maybe it can be done by hand?). Got to change the brake pads soon, and give the calipers a lick of paint so I'll need to take them off at some point. Just got to hope I don't get a flat tyre before then... (Sorry to derail your thread, but it's kinda related.
  11. Saw a black veilside(?) up near Bristow Square on Saturday morning. I'd jsut washed my car and was hoping I'd maybe get my first 'spotted' on here, but no such luck. I only caught a quick glimpse, but it might have been the same one I see on Gilmour Place quite often?
  12. Thanks, the car isn't as nice as it looks in the picture as you can't see the dent in the bonnet... (I didn't do it, it was there when I bought it) Hoping to get that sorted in the near future as other than that the car's in great shape, and only 43,800miles on it.
  13. 1. 1995 Skoda Favourit 1.3 GLXiE (oh the shame, but look at all those letters!) 2. 1999 Nissan Almera 1.6 GX 3. 1990 Toyota Supra mkIII N/A 4. 1995 Toyota Supra mkIV N/A (For some reason I can't get insured for less than £2k on anything if I mention 'Turbo')
  14. Cheers, actually the Head Gasket was about the only thing that didn't go wrong with my MkIII. Guess I was one of the 'lucky' ones... [GRIN][/GRIN] Well, here's A picture of my car, assuming this all works... Sorry if it's a bit big...
  15. been a member of the site for a wee while, since my MkIII Supra died and I started looking for a MkIV. Just bought a 1995 M-Reg Supra SZ, so I figure it's time to become a bit more active on the site. I'll get pics up as soon as I get membership sorted, but for now, just Hello. Craig.
