  1. Haha, I was kind of hoping someone would ask that. I'm going to risk the naming-and shaming, as I figure a member would have just used a membership card? Anyway, the message was "Fabulous! Car. Here's mine. C U around. Call me. Jim 07511xxxxxx"... *ahem* And yeah, I thought it odd that anyone would carry a picure of their car around, let alone3!
  2. Hmm, so I parked down at the Scotmid in Edinburgh, down the bottom of Easter Road. Came back and there was a wee collection of 3 photo's stuck under my wiper. Was not-so-secretly hoping for tits, but it was pictures of a nice looking spoilerless Silver Supra, with a wee message from 'Jim'. Anyone on the forum?
  3. Saw a Black Supra with a Veilside nosecone (standard spoiler, I think), near Leven today, about 1:50pm, then a wee while later I saw another Black one (which was heading away from Edinburgh) on the A90. On the other side of the dual carriageway from me, so all I could see was that it as black. Of all the days to be driving my girlfriends crappy peugot 205.
  4. Been to 3 matches in my life, Falkirk vs Ross County in the Scottish 'challenge' cup final, Falkirk vs Dunfermline in some random game, and a Hibs Intertoto Cup cup game on the day I moved into a flat in Easter Road (as a break from moving boxes). I'm a Norwich FC fan though, and follow Newcastle (who I'm going to see against Blackburn - hopefully - in March for my birthday. ). I've also had the good fortune of having 'my' team win at all three of the matches I've been to, so I'm hoping that rubs off. Definitely wouldn't say I'm fanatical, but as my flatmate is I see about 5 games a week on Sky!
  5. I'd be real interested in the projector, if you would be able to ship it (obviously I'd cover postage if that were possible). Scotland to Hampshire is just a wee bit far to drive! If you're able to ship, just PM me a price including shipping. cheers.
  6. Just past the east end of Princes Street, there's a roundabout by some building to do with the parliament and there's often a wee bunch of folks in modded cars sitting there.
  7. Just put in a bid. Reckon they'd all fit in a Supra? I'm in Edinburgh, so if I win the auction I'd be able to collect...
  8. That sounds about right. If you were parked up by Regent Road last night, then I expect it was yours? I was walking home from the train station, and saw it parked up with a few other cars there...
  9. One of these days I'll spot someone off the site. About 8pm, looked like a Blitz rear spoiler, possibly full blitz kit? It sounded pretty tasty, even from within my flat! Nice to see a red one out this way that isn't mine...
  10. Saw this parked up with a bunch of other cars by New Parliament House on Regent Road, as I walked back from the train station tonight. Not sure if it's a member's?
  11. Ah, it's the same colour as my old MkIII was before it rusted into oblivion. That's pretty tidy though, makes me *slightly* miss my old car.
  12. Nice one. I joined the gym last October, as my girlfriend wanted me to do the Great North Run with her this year. So I was running at the gym, never much more than 6/7Km, and doing that about 3times a week. Didn't see any great weight loss, but felt generally fitter. Once it got to within 14weeks of the Great North Run I started working a lot harder, following a training program, and lost about a stone, down to about 12.5st. Just ran the Great North Run on Sunday (having never run more than 8miles until that day) in 1hour 47mins and 43seconds. I've been eating like a fat b*stard since though!
  13. Where abouts in Fife? I'm up in Leuchars this weekend, as that's where my family live. Also got a friend with Silver Veilside N/A out by Cupar.
  14. Ah right. haha. Think I may have seen yours down Easter Road way when I lived there too? I work just by Haymarket, so see your car most days.
  15. I'm from Edinburgh, obviously, but the car mostly just sits around during the week waiting for the weekend to come by! There's a really nice facelift silver that parks on palmerston place most days, as well as about 3 different black supras.
  16. Went out for a healthy Gregs Steak Bake for lunch, and saw a red stock looking supra at the traffic lights. K*** PGO, anyone on here? None of the Supra's I see in Edinburgh seem to be members...
  17. Nah, not yet. Keep getting told I should head out there, but it's a bit of a way to go for a couple of hours boarding. Good excuse to get the car out, so probably will do soon...
  18. I've been boarding about as long as I've had the Supra. But that's less than a year... Edinburgh has the longest dry slope in Europe, or so I'm told, up at Hillend, so I've yet to be on snow, but hoping to get up to Canada later in the year/early next year. I've a mate up in Montreal at the moment, and he's into his boarding so might make a good excuse.
  19. Just to say I wont need the heatshield, my garage just cut off the corroded bit that was rattling.
  20. I might be interested in the heat shield, if you would be able to post. Got the car going into the garage for a couple of things, and I think the top heat shield is rattling as low revs (the underside of the heatshield already fell off...), so I might be in need of one that isn't going to cost a fortune...
  21. Cool. Hadn't actually thought of them. Best get up early to give them a try.
  22. So, I' visiting Newcastle (Heaton), and picked up a nice nail in my rear-left and have a flat . Got the space-saver on, but would prefer to get the tyre replaced or repaired before I have to drive back to Edinburgh tomorrow night. Any ideas of anywhere that might be open on the bank holiday?
  23. I think I'm approaching the 49k mark, but I've heard of people running these things with such high mileage that I'm not fussed if I clock up a lot. I trust Toyota to make a good engine, as I had an N/A MkIII before the MkIV, and it was up at 147k. The engine was the only robust part when I got rid of it! 85k seems to be around the lower end of the average when you look at ones on Autotrader, Pistonheads, etc.
  24. I did Edinburgh to Norwich on a single tank, which is 400miles. But typically, worst-case 220, up to about 300 dependant on how much time I spend in the city or out on longer drives.
  25. Don't suppose you have an active spoiler available? It doesn't need to be particularly active, I'd like to get my car more stock looking by getting rid of the front lip that's on it, and love the look of the active spoiler in the down position.
