I will try these suggestions. Think the none locking nut maybe best then swap it ove. I have an air gun so will try that. Thanks for the suggestions will let you know which one works.

Tried a g clamp theres not enough space to get it in and theres no where to anchor against other than the bolt

It was going so well replacing the drive shaft. Old one out new one in. How ever there theres one ball joint that i cant get done back up. Its the drivers side rear hub nut on the right. As soon as i start to twist the nut the bolt twists too. I have managed the others by putting pressure on the joint but i cant get pressure on this as its sidewards. Any tool i have i cant seem to fit in the side as there's not the space. I have tried putting wood against it to pull it back in. All to no avail. Tried ball joint press clamps they just dont fit. Has anyone any suggestions on how i can keep the joint in place to tighten back up.

My mate has a vectra vxr and corsa vxr. He swears by them. As stated depends how long your looking to keep it. U sudnt get to many issue with the car providing its looked after but guess thats the same as most cars. I guess you would know if the car is over valued at all by doing research. I think tuning potential is quite limited due to the power thats going through the front wheels. He does state the car is thirsty as hell though so depends if she wants a large fuel bill. Red isnt the best colour my sister has an 02 red corsa thats now kinda pink. Make sure vauxhall gaurantee the paint work as last think u want is a pinky vxr. I would put money on the vxr going wrong before the civic thou. Just depends on your taste. If she happy with it and you want an easy life i would say let her go with the vxr

Does any one know what the aem boost controller settings should be for a uk tt bpu. The figures i have found so far but they dont verify for what type of supra is alarm :17 spring gate : 6.8 ful :20 Duty cycle a: 62 Duty cycle b: 48 Last thing i want to do is blow the turbos up. I have searched on google and many other forums. but am confused by the talk of duty cycle, kg/m3, psi. All i want to do is run the car at 1.3 bar of boost. Im not sure what 1.3 bar of boost equates to in psi to duty cycle. Anyone on here able to fill in the blanks or tell me how to work it out Alarm value : Spring gate value: Ful value Duty cycle value a as a maximum: cheers

I have wired in the traction control. Having taken it for a drive its picking up the front two wheels but not the rear two. The car has no abs and i have swapped the hubs over for abs hubs. Could it be the sensors are dead in the hubs or is the tc a pain the backside? Only reason i ask about the hubs is the front ones it picked up easily and would think the rear would be the same. If it is the sensors in the hubs can these be replaced? Find it odd that both would not work though? Any help please.

The map ecu should take care of fuel cut. I can't go through the menu in program mode of the boost controller so wondering if anyone can help as to why. It starts with prgm which it should but won't let me go any further to change alarm settings etc

I have a UK tt engine. It has an aem tru boost gauge and afr gauge. Decat pipe is fitted with blitz air filter. Also hi spec fuel pump and map ecu programmed to bpu. When I flaw the car and second turbo comes on car jalts and the boost gauge then flashes red. The gauge won't let me scroll through the program to change values. Any ideas?

Im trying to work out whether to sell the car as it is or break it and sell off for parts. can anyone tell me what i should have in for the following options for an aem boost controller, its a uk engine scramble boost, sensor selection, alarm settings, wastegate crack and bar graph. When i floor it i get cut/overboost and the red led flashs Cheers

Can any one help the instructions arent clear. I have an aem boost gauge set to 1.3 bar on uk engine. When the 2nd turbo comes on slowly the boost gauge cuts in very early or if i floor it it comes in about 6000rpm. Im guessing theres some sort of safety cut feature thats set below which is why its cutting in. Is there a way i can change the limit. When i try and go through the program menu i push both buttons takes me to the first in the list but wont go any further. Think it displays unl, anyone got any ideas as this is ruining my fun

I have wired the amp into the car and it was fine on acc with no feedback. Since starting the car there is now a lot of feedback coming through especially when the car is accelerating. How can i stop this as even now when the car is on acc there is feedback. 2nd question i have a dnx 7200 and connected the bluetooth phone. The system has recognised the phone and i can receive calls but it wont let me make them. The phone says im paired with the unit but i cant get into the unit to make sure this is the case. Any one have any ideas thanks

I know when i push against the plugs and wiggle them the light comes back on but its getting it to stay on. Im about to fit a double unit and dont want to keep pulling the car about. Just wondered if any one new which one was the light so i can check that one.

The center console lights have decided they dont want to work. The fan aircon etc does i just cant see what is lite. I think the issue is where the dash has been taken in and out the wiring at the back of the dash is possibly coming loose. Does any one know which wire is for the lights so i can check this?

Cant believe made the adjustments from the last mot failure on sat. Loose drive shaft and f/o/s dipped beam not working. Now the f/o/s main beam not working and the dipped f/n/s dipped beam to high. Why this wasnt pointed out on sat i dont know. cant imagine the lights have decided to move themselves. Anyone know how i can adjust this? And what the setting should be, how can i tell if its correct

My speedo is currently not working. Just wondering if this could be caused by fitting rltc. Is the speedo linked into the ecu? I know there's the vehicle speed sensor could it be the joins not perfect so the speedo nots working now? I dont think its the convertor as im sure that was working and i havnt moved the clocks. Just want to check before i pull all the dash out when it may not be that.
