AEM a/f gauge wanted

Just fiited the solenoid and wanted to say thanks. As you say i dont know why i was making a big fuss. On the instructions it says to connect to manifold pressure. Is this the same as where the old boost gauge was fitted just above the recirculating bov?

last question then i will leave alone till i start playing. The two wires on the solenoid, where do they go?

Sorry the picture is not clear. I can see the wastegate acuator, that i take the pipe off (third red line) and i can get the vsv (4th red line off) = both blue lines. Is the 2nd red line the top of the waste gate actuator and the 1st red line the tubby compressor housing then? Is turbo 1 nearest the front of the car? Think after this i will be able to do this

Silly question which acuator is it as from looking at all the pics there seems to be lots?

Sorry i know im being a pain but ur last post helped a lot. What happens to the waste gate / actuator then, This left with nothing on it then?

From the pic you have sent i have found the blue to disconnect. Where is the rear red lines to disconnect. Is it easy to find, what am i looking for as the pic is not clear. Is it a fight to get to as the engine is the way? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpos...71&postcount=5

So everyone got advice on it then. The map ecu i can do the fuel pump i can do. The aem boost controller i hav'nt got a clue. "AEM BC is just 2 hoses and an electrical connection so that's about an hour" Any idea where the 2 hoses go and what needs blocking off????

I have brought a few bits for the car and was after some one with knowledge and time for a lot tea and biscuits to help fit these bits. I live in wisbech. Anyone live near that would be able to help?? Bits to fit, Fuel pump, aem boost controller, map ecu Thanks

Now im feeling silly, i have spent a long time searching, can some one point me in the direction of the thread for installing the aem boost controller then?

I have tried the search function on here and google. There is no results as to how to install the aem boost controller on the tt supra If someone can point me in the right direction then i will sit in the garage and tinker with the car some more

I have posted before but with no answer. Where it says to put the manual boost controller can i replace this with the solenoid from the aem boost controller?

The problem maybe?? I have an AEM boost controller and map ecu. Neither are fiited at the moment. I have put a straight through exhaust and uprated the fuel pump and spark plugs. I think i can fit the map ecu but hav'nt got a clue on the boost controller and no one or here seems to know. I am not sure on the programming side of the map ecu so did'nt know if its a case of download the map to bypass the maf or if it needs lots of different downloads. Is there a garage near peterborough or Kings Lynn that does the dyno and performance upgrades that people would recommend. Thanks

OK so a A/f gauge. What should be the reading for BPU for this? I was thinking of retrimiing the seats myself. Might have to do some begging but the girlfriend is good with needle and thread?

Sorry for these questions but i cant find the answers 1. When fitting the boost gauge do i just plub into the 1st wastegate which i read somewhere? What about the second wastegate? Or are there diagrams on here as to where the boost controller goes? 2. I have a UK engine, on the top it looks as though there is an air intake, is this the case? Would fitting a bonnet scoop help with colder air into the engine? 3. I am after replacing the cloth with leather seats? Is this an easy thing to do? Have many people done this? 4. I have the aem boost controller/gauge, i need one more gauge to go in the holder. Does anyone know if there is an aem oil temp gauge? Thanks for any help

No restrictor ring fitted, from what i read its not needed on the uk spec. Even with full decat at the moment im only making 0.95ish boost, so boost controller defo needed.
