Voted for the Nissan rather then that dodgy TRD thing

Totally understand & as said it's your car & you need to put your mark on it now (not white transit one though) Good luck with the spray etc & if you need to know anything just ask.
-
PLEASE DO NOT GO WHITE!!! A pal of mine told me about this thread Only help I can be with the colour code is that it came from the interior of a DB5 which was never used on an exterior! You will never find a car with the same colour. It's your car & your choice but the work was carried out by GVN when they were still around & cost me on the +side of £9k, hence why I can't get you the colour code now. If you need anything else just ask. Post a pic of the damage caused P.s the Volks you have are the ones originally from my car look in my garage for pic's

Deposit taken

Lol, it was this one with vinyls as I let my friend who maintained it. Advertise his garage at shows etc by using the car.

Thanks for that mate, really appreciated

Clock reads 140km, however it was a 5 speed na but after doing all the bodywork I decided on a TT conversion. Since then it has done just over 9000miles. The engine that went in had done just under 80k also.
-
Thanks, well I took a deposit for the car & to cut a long story short the buyer couldn't come up with the rest of the funds. So I've had to put it back up.

Thanks for all your help guys & thanks for the link Probox

Recently before I sold my supra I declared it off the road as I had to do work on it before it could go. However during this time my insurance expired & unknown to me admiral (insurance company) decided to automatically renew my insurance for another year but as I changed banks also they didn't have my correct details to take payment so it was sent back un-paid. I pay for my insurance upfront so didn't feel the need to tell them as I was moving house at the same time also, so it got put to the back of the 'to do' pile & consequently forgotten about. So now I have a debt recovery company trying to get £155 off me for insurance I never asked or agreed to. They as u can guess are telling me to pay the bill & the contest it. (which I really don't want to do) Or if I can supply them with proof of SORN they will close down the account as no funds required. This leads me to my problem, I don't have the sorn notice anymore as I gave this along with anything else that was supra related to the new owner & the new owner doesn't have said document as its now taxed & on the road. Any suggestions would be appreciated as every time I try to contact the DVLA I can't get though to speak to anyone & keep getting cut off. Thanks, Michael

That's bad news, Gerald is a decent guy & they done a lot of great work from what I've seen. Hope he's alright though & wonder where he'll go from there? Do you know anything of Mario? As that guy was something special when it looked like an impossible task!!
-
Just wondering if anyone has heard about them still trading? The last time I spoke to Gerald was maybe a year or so ago as they were relocating to South Harrow. However I went to go see him the other day for a catch up & to find out the paint code for the supra's new owner but they weren't there & the unit they were using is up for lease... Have they moved again? Changed name or gone for good? Anyone able to shed some light on this for me please??

What model APR wing is that fella? As it looks completely different from the one I own. Or did you just shorten the height?

Bump.... anyone?? Will I have to swap the outer casing from the original diff to the new one to line everything up or is it as simple as new prop, new diff, job done?
-
Just wondered if you guys can give me some info please on replacing an na open diff with a auto TT diff & with what else would be required? I know that you'll need a prop shaft but if you're fitting a auto LSD to a manual na then will you require a auto prop or would any prop do? Also once you have the required prop then is that all that is needed to do the swap etc? Thanks for any help people
