  1. I may make a comeback..!! H.
  2. One of my favourite Supras from my time on here. Done a fair few miles along side over DB's and various meets. Good luck with the sale Ellis. I think I know what you are after now. H.
  3. They can do whatever they want. It's their terms of cover and they can amend without notice I would imagine. Would have to read their T&C's but I bet they have it covered as most companies would. I looked at Lynbrook, Carole Nash, Greenlight etc. Car was on 5K miles with Lynbrook, not garaged, modifications to wheels, exhaust only though. If you are heavily modified then you may have a problem. H.
  4. Go to Lynbrook, well cheap and decent to deal with. Footman James were AON at one point and they moved my Supra back from 10 years to 15 years as a classic and put the price up. I subsequently went elsewhere and saved on my original price anyway, nevermind the renewal. H.
  5. Vicki and I will sit somewhere else. Don't want you guys being dragged down with the riff raff..!!

    Le Mans

Great finish to this race with the Aston and Corvette. I backed Porsche #2 after 10 mins of the race. To come from 56th to 1st is pretty amazing. H.
  7. Jesus. Got that very wrong on the approach, too quick and on the inside of the bend wtf? H.
  8. T-cut is his friend it would seem...!!
  9. Top money for a car with low miles and no history....love a chancer me..!!
  10. Apologies folks. We were all set for this but we left for holiday on the day the tickets came up for payment. After 11 days, all of them had gone and we were on the reserve list. We have now made other arrangements for holidays so getting additonal time off and baby sitters was going to be an issue. Instead I have an offer of a weekend only where I can take the kids so that is better for us. I hope you lot have a great time and I will try and make the effort next year. H.
  11. Hi John, I thought it would be abundantly clear within your policy, what you are covered or not covered for. Your policy is either for you and named only, no third party coverage. You only fully comp, then third party only for other vehicles. I would have no idea how they would police whether coverage is for your partner, casual girlfriend, cousin etc. Unless you are mental and live with someone and are happy to drive around in their vehicle thrid party only. That would be madness compared to being named on the policy for a car that you are obviously going to drive regularly. H.
  12. I am confused. Even third party, he is legally entitled to drive the car. He is just not allowed to claim on his partners insurance, just his own. *Edit. I assume your small print on your own fully comp policy says that you are allowed to drive other cars third party? Unless the small print excludes a partners car, then I can't see how you have done anything wrong. We have policies that are four our cars only and others that say third party but I have never heard of a "partner" clause. H.
  13. Nope. 330 Ci has just done 40 odd laps of Oulton Park today at full keg, without an issue. You won't find many perfect cars these days. Supra is the best build quality I have seen to be fair but you can't eat the same food everyday or life would get pretty boring. You must have the experience of the car first hand to give an honest appraisal. The Z4M is as much fun as I have ever had in a car but that will also need to be changed at some point, just not now. H.
  14. I do get piles regularly though. Your point being? She is out again tomorrow. H.
  15. Sounds reasonable. I have 3 with hardly any problems with any of them. Granted, the M3 sub frame issue is a cracker though. Besides a new battery my Z4M has wanted for nothing and the 330 Ci has survived being ragged regularly. Merc is on a 16 plate and has not yet been back to the dealer after 21K miles. H.
  16. The James Bond I watched as a kid. So smooth and with his terrible jokes, he was always my favourite.

Always padlock the roof hatch. At least it buys you some time to clear out the stash before they return. H.
  18. So how many people are awaiting items from this member?
