  1. In 5 years? Amateur...!!
  2. Mike. Let me have a word with the Northern Z4 lot as they have had some done.
  3. Superb..!! Is it wrong how much I like the look of that? H.
  4. Welcome. 7 years lurking eh? I had 4k posts before I took the plunge. Wonderful machines, don't let the oil burning put you off. Do you know what is causing it? H.
  5. Still needs one, my handsome homie. Just sort it and stop arguing, you remind me of the kids..!! H.
  6. How practical does it need to be? I'd be in an MX-5 but you'll hardly be able to get anything in it. Honda Civic or Accord would be my routes to market.
  7. It's a Cayman, not a Beetle. You know that "thick skin", I was talking about....?? You can duck off..!! H.
  8. Wow, what a thread..!! I was here from 2007 to 2014 in the main. Tried to help people, attend meets, make friends etc. As a club, this is better than so many others and even though I don't pop on like I used to, most of the friendly faces are still here to a degree. I have never really seen new members be treated badly, but you have a have some thickness to your skin. There is banter in all walks of life and as long is it is not overstepping the mark, I don't see a problem. Place needs a facelift, DB is going to be awesome and I will attend a few meets over the summer, locally and nationally. Even though I sold my car in 2015, I have always been made welcome. Onwards...!!
  9. Looks like QS to me. Mad money though, let's see if it goes.
  10. We like pictures....!! Welcome.
  11. I can multi task at a push but more hands make light work.
  12. Add. If I can find somewhere to bury him, can you get him in a suit case...?? H.
  13. The big guy....!! I don't think I have seen you since I drove past you in Leigh and shouted "tosser"...!! Your face was a picture in the RX-7 and a massive arm hanging out the drivers window. This trip just got better.

    Cars that tempt

Yep. Gen2 is the only one I would have considered. There are members on club who still say that it wasn't that bad and didn't happen to as many cars as you'd think, never seen the numbers though as I lost interest when I found there was a problem. I don't do unreliable..!! H.

I assume you mean a 987 Cayman then? I don't find them that attractive in that shape. I have a 981 but there is a fair jump in price due to the age as they are 2013 onwards. Cayman OC is a good place to get info, bore scoring and IMS failures are not as common as you would think according to some. H.
