Hello, is it me you're looking for?
  2. You need to listen to 3 Days Grace Halestorm Shinedown Alter Bridge Daughtry That should keep you going for a while. H.
  3. I better get my house sold before values take a dive...!! Doubt we could make that weekend but good luck with the show Ian. H.
  4. Lovely car in the flesh too. I wonder if I buy it will Mike Ward have room for it on his drive? H.
  5. Lynbrook used to be mental with their prices. I went from paying £500 - 600 for my NA to £300 for a TT....lol.!! H.
  6. Cheers Gordy. Vicki and I loved it and were sad to have to leave early on the Sunday morning. Arrived at Wigan at 17.30 but still one hell of a drive. Thanks to those who organised the trip and for all those who made us feel so welcome. H.

    Car Lease Deals

I would PM Pig on here. Jon will get you a deal. H.
  8. If you come off at J27 on the M6, take a left off the roundabout (Parbold signs), there is a BP there. We will be leaving about 6.30 ish ourselves. I know what you mean about Kylesku and back. We had the kids with us and were in the Merc, so we had to come back to get the Zed. I am amazed how quickly you can get about in northern Scotland though. Great roads and scenery. H.
  9. We will be getting up there about 21.00 all being well. Christian, what time are you going to be passing J27 on the M6? Dear All, Apologies for the late reply to the thread, we have been up in Kylesku for a week and done 1500 miles round your beautiful country. Food order: Me: Boxsty Pancake starter & Fish & chips main Vicki: Goats cheese starter and Slow Cooked Beef main. Just prepping the car now as we are only back for 4 days before another adventure begins. No kids this time too, woot...!! H.
  10. True Paul. Once you have spread your filth then legionaires disease will seem like a picnic..!! H.
  11. Yep Gordy. Always loved the 911 but rear engined layout has had to tampered with over the years to get the balance right. Porsche are too stubborn to change now, especially after making it near perfect. The Cayman, Boxster are mid engined and the handling is amazing. I am nearly at the point where I can take the plunge once my house sale completes but I am still not sure which one to go for. I will keep this car for a very long time so it has to be something a bit special that will hopefully be worth more in 20 years time than now. If not, I will just have owned a cracking car. H.
  12. Hmm, £3-4K or £45 - 90K. Decisions, decisions...!! H.
  13. Never fancied one. As a water engineer I know they are ideal for spreading bacteria and 38 degrees is ideal for legionaires disease. http://www.hse.gov.uk/legionnaires/spa-pools.htm Enjoy your dip.....lol..!! H.
  14. Hi Peter, which model, age are you looking at? I wouldn't bother with anything pre 2009 (Gen 1). I have been looking at the 991 (911) but the 981 Cayman and Boxster are a massive step forward in looks and engineering. They may just tempt me away from the 911 which has been my dream for years. A mid engined car is an itch I need to scratch, sooner rather than later. H.
  15. If you are looking at it for purely financial reward, I doubt the appreciation will outrun the running costs, tax, insurance etc. Maintenance is one of the biggest costs now and scarsity of parts. I don't regret letting ours go but she was a beautiful car. H.
  16. Hyper black or shadow chrome looks awesome on silver. Other than that a very pale gloss grey looks good too. Has to be seen to be appreciated. You should be spending your money on a reversing camera for me Mark. H.
  17. One of my pet hates is burglars. Why earn your way though life when you can just take someone else's stuff. I have been lucky enough to see some of these people take a real kicking, no where near enough though. H.
  18. Sorry guys. Due to dropping the kids off and a couple of errands we are not going to get away from Wigan before 10 or 11. See you down there. H.
  19. AON were bought out by Footman James IIRC. Lynbrook were good for the 3 years or so I was with them. Price only increased slightly per year. I paid £280 for my last year with them for 3k miles or £330 for 5K miles. Wigan post code. TT Tiptronic. H.
  20. That sounds good. They used to be AON when I was insured with them but moved the classic policies from 10 years to 15 years and I had to move to Lynbrook. Good price though. H.
  21. Gen 7 Celica is a great car. 2003 onwards is a must and beware of cam lift problems on the 190. If I was in your shoes, I would go MX-5 though, just because they are RWD. Celica was great (we had 3), but FWD has it's limitations when it comes to fun. H.
