Oh so with a 3.0 Petrol, 3.2 Litre petrol and 2 x 2.2 Diesels, looks like I will be staying in more rural parts then...!! Maybe a 3.8 litre Porsche is not a good idea. I heard this week that the ozone layer had repaired itself. H.

Great looking car and one I would consider until the auto gearbox was mentioned. GT4 it is then...!! Looks like the days of the manual gearbox are numbered unless you want to stay around 350Hp. H.
  3. Someone lock this FFS...!! I reckon my Flintstone brakes are better than any setup on here. Does knacker my new Adidas through but cheaper than replacement pads and fluid. H.
  4. Defo. Bonnet changed but same car. This was it in 2007.
  5. This thread made me lol. I nearly killed myself and Mrs H chasing Ian Ian in a set of twisties some years ago, after three relatively sharp bends the pedal did nothing when stamped on. How we got around that bend with traffic coming the other way is beyond me. Could have been the fluid but I would never run a car on j-specs at pace again. As a one off stamp they are ok but nothing much beyond that. H.
  6. Lol @ the price...!! It's not far from me. May make a cheeky offer and stick it on Mike Ward's drive for a few months..!! H.
  7. The car is a long story and a lesson in how fixing one problem can damage your wallet with another. After spending 5 months on Mike Ward's drive, she is finally ready to be tracked. H.
  8. Hi Jamie, sorry, I never thought about asking your opinion on this. As far as modding goes, there is pretty much nothing you haven't done. After speaking to the lads who were working on the car, we couldn't get agreement on which way to go as Mike Ward and Rob Wild both had their opinions. Considering the exisitng wheels were prone to cracking I took the plunge and got new ones to fix a multitude of possibilities. From an engineering point of view Mr Toyota and Mr BMW make their decisions and any aftermarket mods are an extension of the original tolerances. I know that the chances of having serious issues are minimal or just down to plain luck in some cases but I will always play it safe if I can. You and I are poles apart when it comes to mechanical sympathy... I even bought the 330 in order to run it to destruction and now I am tarting her up. H.
  9. Hi Greg. I hope you are well mate. I have just had this dilemma with my 330 Ci track car. Upgraded the brakes to AP Racing ones and then found that the front wheels didn't fit. After looking hard at hubcentric spacers, I have taken the plunge and got new wheels with a slightly lower offset but mainly the shape of the spokes made the clearance on the calipers. Considering it was for track use, I went the extra yard. I wouldn't fancy running anything more than 10 - 15mm due to the extra weight on the bearings and also the shear force of longer bolts. Neither a billet spacer or longer bolts are ideal from an engineering point of view. The way I looked at it was if it snapped on the move, how much would it cost me? There is also the consideration of whether you would catch the arch with a spacer on. H.
  10. Ctek's are great. I had mine on charge whilst it was outside via a decent extension lead and a tupperware box under the car. Never let me down once. Just remember to remove it before you drive off. H.
  11. I had this issue for ages and kept returning the lights to Toyota. Found out eventually that the HID kit fitted in Japan left the backs off the headlight bulbs where they should have wired through the back and sealed the hole where the HID wires went through. With standard bulbs there wouldn't have been an issue. On the drivers side the drains for the bonnet run directly into the back of the light and that could be how the water is getting in. Could do with some pics of the rear of your light as mine wasn't obvious until I studied another members set up. My back of light fittings were wrapped up in some insultation tape near the loom they had just tapped off them and left the headlight back pretty much open. H.
  12. House sale has fallen through twice in the last 4 months otherwise I would the there now. Always thought he 991 would be my choice but the F type is really pressing my buttons. I just hope they temp me with an FT-1 just to ruin my decision making process. H.
  13. Bring this on please. I hope it looks like the FT-1 or my money is going 911 or F type R. H.
  14. I would go Vreds if I had chance again. Not sure if the Ultrac Vortis are any good but the Sessantas were fantastic on my TT. H.
  15. It's been going downhill for a while. There, I said it...!!
  16. As a pure car nut I would prefer programmes to be a bit more informative. They can be spectacular when demonstrating performance etc but I am not really interested in watching 3 middle age blokes find different ways to blow up a caravan whilst on mega salaries. I did think that Chris Evans tried to hard in the new TG but want went on behind the scenes, only they will know. Just lose Eddie Jordan now and it should be a half decent show. Opinions are like arseholes, I suppose. Everyone has one. H.
  17. I don't get the attraction. They were good 10 years ago but they are really running out of ideas. New Top Gear never stood a chance with the negativity directed towards it from the off. We shall see if Clarkson has managed to pull this out of the bag. H.
  18. Nice car Lockie, hairdressers cars can be a lot of fun too..!! H.
  19. The middle pictures with the skirts with the lip at the bottom is a RidoxIIRC. The grey Supe in the second pictures is lovely. Wonder who's that was? H.
  20. I am ok mate. Moved in from Supras a year or two ago but still keep in touch. They are getting expensive now for what is an old car. Good luck with your search, you'll have to get down the NW meet and we can have a chat. H.
  21. Wasn't me as mine is long gone. How the hell are you Darren? H.
  22. I forgot to mention Seether too. I have recently discovered Kryptonite by 3 doors Down and cannot get it out of my head. H.
