OK! I'll get it packed and weigh it tonight for you then, so we can make a guestimate on the postage... ...I'll resend the PM too - I just thought you were being mean
-
Either that or you ran over the neighbours dog.
-
I have one in the garage too, though Knight Racer oversprayed onto it, in blue. Not a lot, its just got a blue tint. Its 11 years old and in ok condition, bit of oil in it. It was working fine for me, but I didn't want a blue one Answer my PM from a while ago, pay the postage plus a beer and you can have it! At least this will get your mate on his feet again?
-
Hi Mark, I sent you a PM?
-
Spotted you about 6 foot up in the air - heading for a brick wall! Pretty lil thing, answered to the name of "Razza's bit of stuff" - I hope James @ ToyotaGT looked after you as well as he looked after my little one!
-
Best hope he doesn't see us calling him that, the price will go up Yeah, saves the hassle, depends if we can get a few of us together and get a group buy going from Yankieland, we probably could? That would save us a few quid. Whiffy has the clear rear ones too, same price.
-
Whiffy is £40...
-
I was only borrowing it a bit, and you get first dibbs! Plus you get a free bump. I think 2nd hand ones are like rocking horse poo anyway.
-
Hi Guys, I have a Du-Luck rep front bumper and a Miami GT side mount intercooler - somewhere along the line my ducting went walkabout. Does anyone have any spare ducting they don't want that I might be able to have so I can butcher it to fit?
-
If anyone has a further second-hand thread - please PM me too!

Spotted a lovely silver Supra behind me (I was in a horrible red Ford Escort van) in traffic. We were leading up to the A4, leaving London, and you got bored and zipped off down a side street on Sunday evening around 7pm. You had blue LED sidelights and very white (poss HID?) headlights. Couldn't see much else coz you sat too close to me. You also had an exhaust that sounded like Beelzebub himself trying to blow water out of his didgeridoo

Mine is being fitted to my BPU Soop by ToyotaGT at the moment - perhaps he can give us a technical evaluation from a garage's point of view? I can tell you what it is like from a driveability point of view in a few days...
-
and I'm booked in there for a clutch, timing belt and major service at the end of the month, so I can tell you how I get on if anyone cares
-
Congrats to you both! Buy him/her a Supra romper suit, get them into training early.

Its like a forum of Victor Meldrew's on here sometimes... they'll be after him with pitchforks and torches soon. If this is all true supraspeed, I'm really sorry for you, your news is going from bad to worse, but I'm sure the vultures will help you get some pennies back for your loss, or you could ask nicely and see if anyone has a cheap shell. Good luck with the rest of this thread, you'll have your work cut out for you, people like a good witch-hunt.
-
£180 from ToyotaGT - cheapest I found, and when my Centerforce arrives I shall be going there for clutch, service, cam belt, dot 5.1 change, and a few other bits and bobs - hmmm, that'll be a cheap day out.

When the 80gb version eventually graces our shores it will have a software emulator for backwards compatibility (as opposed to the hardware emulator in the 60gb version) so all is not lost! Yet.
-
Fancy giving us a guide price?

Useful, thanks for the link! I might have a little something to attempt an SVA on this year too

Yep, stock flywheel, I already have a rex that sounds like a tractor, don't want a Supra like that as well :o) Jesse is the person you want, at Lightning Force Performance, contact details here:- Jesse/LFP 281-385-5339 [email protected] http://www.lightningforceperformance.com http://www.stores.ebay.com/lightningforceperformance I have got mine ordered and on its way, and it cost $679.95 all in, don't forget to ask him to make it look like a gift for the import tax!!

We have a BPU supra and a rex with a few bells and whistles. Now, please skip ahead if you are expecting a technical evaluation of them. I am not what I consider a fast driver/rider - I know how to keep the sticky side down, but that is about it, I'm not a track king. I'm average tall, and I have a beer gut, but I'm not rotund. OK, here goes... The rex is uncomfortable, loud, thirsty, scary, rattly, bangy and tries to kill you if you take your eyes off the road to look at the attractive lady that is looking back at you disapprovingly... ...I love it. It corners like it is on rails, it makes the Supra feel like an overweight minibus. There is no lag, at all, anywhere... the Apexi power fc might help there? It pulls so quickly and strongly, its amazing. You accelerate and sneeze at the same time, you are doing 30mph more (and you've just used £20 of fuel) The "extra rotor" engines must be gorgeous. As has been said, it is so agile and grippy, I've had a few occasions where I may have arrived at my corner a touch faster than required, and I turn the wheel whilst praying to all the God's I can think of, and she just goes round casual as you like - as if to say, what ARE you doing - do you know how to drive? I get out of the rex with a grin, look back and it is gorgeous, so sleek and sexy, lovely curves. Unless I have been stuck in traffic, then you bore of the noise, the tractor clutch, the snatchy short shift, the cramped quarters, you get out wanting to kill someone. Then I drive the Supra for a week... it is so comfy... sure, there's a bit of lag from the jspecs in comparision, but there is so much power! OK, not as quick, but feels like it has so much more to give... I guess it needs all that power to lug its lardy arse about. Cornering speed wise, there isn't much between them in my hands, as I said, I'm not a driving God. However, the Supra will LOOK like it is going fast - you know, it that shouty "look at me, pull me now I'm speeding" way, and it'll be all "sloppy" in comparision to the rex. (A Supra - sloppy? HAHAHA). It is so easy though, the rex requires you to drive it, the Supra will help you out, it'll fill in the holes in your driving style, it will compliment you nicely and won't bite your hand off. Supra just has enough of everything. I guess it is the compromise car. Its reliable, comfortable, fast, looks good, stops ok, can carry your weekly shopping, can carry three people (four if they have no legs), can do 300 miles without deafening you... Once you convert from rex to Supra it isn't sloppy, it actually rides bumps. If you ride over an empty packet of crisps you can still tell what flavour they were in the Supra, but unlike the rex you don't loose a tooth when you do. Yeah, it is the "better" car. If I was driving to Scotland, I'd take the Supra... driving to the shops, probably the Supra, driving to work - Supra again - its a no brainer, end of arguement, the Supra is better... ...so why do I find myself picking up the rex keys instead sometimes? I enjoy the rex but I wouldn't own one, the one in this story is my other half's. I bought the Supra because I love it. I think the rex would be a phenominal car in clever hands, and we enjoy both of them, but I'd keep the Supra. ... Now where are those rex keys again??

The ebay bloke returned my money, saying he can't get them any more - soppy git. I then trawelled American sites and other ebay sellers dealing in Centerforce stuff - got some fantastical huge quotes from some people! I have found another source in America though, and he is doing me one for $679.95 delivered. If the powers that be are happy for me to put his contact details in here I will. He is more than happy for me to recommend him to the club, so its up to you guys!
-
Yeah, I think I am going to have to get out, its doing me no good there. I'm tempted to start the MSCE and stay there whilst I do it in the evenings, that way at least I get bread on the table while I train, and if I'm sensible with the pennies (pffft - that'll happen) I can have a buffer zone in the bank for contract finding, etc.... ... see, the plan is there, but as has been said... its the jump, scary.

Not a bad package! I get no bonus, no health care, some sick leave (dunno how much) and my holiday went up to a stonking 21 days this year! So is the stress worth it for me I ask myself? Tricky.
