  1. Hey Homer, I'd love to come to this, but I have to prep a mini for the London 2 Brighton the weekend after, and I don't know how much time we'll need (engine is out with a terminal oil leak at the mo!) - when is the latest I can book a power-run slot please?
  2. Oh now that's harsh (snigger) At least a chicken chaser has the right number of wheels to be in the club, even if you can upgrade it with a leaf blower motor...
  3. Theres mine from Monday - poor lil Soop with cold feet
  4. Those raptors are insane (but then, I'm not sure you are completely sane when it comes to things with wheels:)) and that one looks gorgeous - buy it buy it!
  5. So with all these people admitting to being on the dark side and owning a bike, are we likely to see more than one at Suprapod this year? Nice to see a bit of variation up there, and as I got over 40 runs during the day including arriving late, having a long lunch and walking around quite a bit, its not as if we don't have the room!
  6. I have a Fazer thou (which came to Suprapod '08) which I've just added a pic of in my garage, and my other half has an old CBR 400RR which is absolutley lovely to ride if you can cope with the backache! I love bikes - the £ to grin ratio is fantastic.
  7. Good to meet you Raoul, and many thanks for the exhaust - that should get me back on the road again soon after I have replaced my sieve-like superdragger and got through an MOT! Thanks again...
  8. Interested in the mongoose 3" exhaust, first dibbs please - is it completely stainless throughout? It looks like it is a cat back system (attaches to the 2nd cat/decat) is that right?
  9. "If found, please return to ..." Just need to come up with something for the ... DVLA, Swansea? No 10 Downing Street? Glasgow Constabulary? Top Gear Headquarters?
  10. You could take Ryan.G's track Supra, the engine is pushed so far back that you can probably fit the Renault 1.5 infront of it and drive the front wheels with that, you'd have to swap over the Renault steering, front brakes and suspension (French do build the best handling cars though) and you've got something that would beat the GTR round the Nurburgring. Just think of the track on that, narrow front wheels, wide rear - it would handle like an F1 car.
  11. Mine isn't in Reading, but it used to get driven to Wokingham regularly... not any more though, lost my job in Wokingham, plus its cold and wet - she doesn't like getting her feet soggy and chillly on a regular basis.
  12. I've had that "who dares burns" sauce, flatmate of mine was into his hot sauces, he'd always bring his newest one out after we'd had a few beers... "here, try a dab of this on your finger" he'd say - sigh... damn beer, it has a lot to answer for.
  13. Sounds good, thank you, I might give at one a go too! Thanks for the input guys...
  14. Has anyone heard of this place - Farnborough Test Track (also known as Eelmoor Test Track) :- http://www.cskate.co.uk/content/view/34/84/ The page was from 2005, but I've found other links from 2008 from skaters using it - don't know what they'd think to a trike on there though Might have to go take a look...
  15. Well, its a trike, so I could try telling them its a REALLY big kart?
  16. I think I know where you mean actually, though I'd have to trailer the vehicle in, which may arise suspicions! Found this too http://www.gethampshire.co.uk/news/s/2027301_men_lucky_to_escape_ferrari_crash So they may not take too kindly if they do find me...
  17. I thought about Blackbushe, that is just down the road, but its getting on there that is the trouble now, perhaps if I can find the right someone to ask... Interested in your runway Mr Lover, can you tell me more? I like the idea of google earth too, problem is not many people this close to London are "helpful" like that...
  18. Perhaps a long shot this, but I have an odd question... I'm building a little project vehicle which requires an SVA, but I'm looking for a decent place to test it first, so a bit of test track, airfield, deserted open "private" car park - something that isn't covered in cameras, is out of the way of prying eys and won't get me in bother with the bobbies. Preferably somewhere not too far from home either, near Bracknell or Reading? Does anyone have any ideas? In Ryan's strip-down thread he talks about Brunters, but apparently that is full of cars now, all the car parks I know of are full of lumps, cameras, security guards, or all of the above! Does anyone in the south have a REALLY big concrete yard that they own that I could borrow for a morning sometime perhaps?
  19. Yay, they got the two-wheeled vehicle hater on a bike! Congratulations to the BBC... course, he "says" he still doesn't like them, but then, he'd have to!
  20. for having god awful veilside skirts! Oh wait... arse.
  21. Yeah, but how much of a smile would you have on your face as you rushed quickly toward the scene of the accident!
  22. The red wide body MR2 has a certain something, I quite like that... and the 106 with the mi16 lump in it would probably be a lot of fun.. not sure about a lot of the others though - some have had a pretty penny spent on them, but as the saying goes, a fool and his money...

Spotted between Sandhurst and Crowthorne - a very sick sounding (and smelling) black Soop with a good smoke screen effect! Spotted around 5pm - I hope it gets better soon!
