Looking at getting some bits for BPU in the January sales, and I got onto the Walbro pump debate. Now I was all ready to buy one for £65 from Whifbitz, but after reading a good few of the threads about it, and then this:-

...and then hearing peeps complaining about the noise of Walbro over stock I'm wondering if I might be better staying stock?
By the sounds of things I'd be advised to take it all apart and give the filter a damn good clean up and checking all is well, but the stock part sounds like it has a better flow rate and its quieter than the "upgrade" option of a Walbro?
I know the UK is more powerful than the J-spec one, but is the J-spec one more powerful than the Walbro (assuming all is running well of course) - Just want someone to set me right, don't mind spending the money if needed, but don't want to spend it if its not going to help and is going to whine constantly in my ear - I have my other half to do that.
